  • I'm sorry I don't have 4 eyes to see two monitors at a time.. maybe one day I will? This guy "requires" 4 monitors? really? anyways..

  • Linus your so funny

  • I don't mean to be annoying, and Iove this show. But the only thing I need use when I want to use two monitors is an old VGA cable i had from a monitor that died, lol.

  • @NCIXcom Will this work with all-in-one-pc?

  • Frame rate is not perfect? But... this is bad... how am I supposed to play serious FPS games on my laptop with this monitor?

I don't have HDMI out... only VGA out.

I do have a USB 3.0 express card format host controller but it's only a substitute for real USB 3.0 and isn't as good. This might not be enough?

  • Can you use more than one on the same computer?

  • needs an integrated gyro so it doesn't wobble so much

  • will this work w/ OSX?

  • love your videos!

    you are funny and awesome!

  • @CoDBOxIPWNubZx even if it was pissibly which its not it would be dumb for gaming because of the LAG

  • i was going to get this monitor butttt i found the SAMSUNG S23A950D and i say F this thing

  • what laptop are you using in the video?

  • lolol

    "One is the moniter. -"

*while cameraman zooms in to the adapter.*

  • @pryvisee HAHA, I just read your comment and then "One is the monitor" Perfekt ;)

  • Well at lest this account didn't get hacked. Weak passwords for the loss broski.

  • Is good for Home-work, Project, or business stuff...

  • hey Linus, I think you should make more vids about SSD's , Pci-e ones in particular (there was a brief mention of them in one of your videos) like the revodrive x2 or the x3 coming soon. Thanks , great video! as always.

  • does it work with Ubuntu?

  • can you use it behind the monitor????

  • Can that monitor use a DVI-D type display cable as well?

  • Cameraman = Patrik ????

  • AH trick question, would the wireless work with a macbook?

  • this shit literally is bananas

  • LOL spiral knights is on the desktop.

  • the only thing I notice is that the table in this presentation is kinda bad

  • this is perfect for multimoniter Audio DAW's and studio editing. How much is it?

  • 9:00 who the hell is Patrik?

  • This is sick. If I had a notebook I'd be all drooling all over this.

  • i thought new camera has manual focus

  • "NCIX Tech Tips - 1001 way to spend your money on overpriced crap you don't actually need."

  • Don't really get it... It has a wireless option, but don't use it cause it sucks.. So use the usb 3.0 method instead. And even then the framerate is very low. Why not just use a regular monitor and connect it with a hdmi cable? Seems like that would be just as easy as plugging in an usb cable? Sure you lose out on the mouse and keyboard but you can still get that by plugging in them into your computer. So you basically pay twice as much for a built in usb hub and low framerate?

  • Why are we still reviewing 1080p 27".... when today's standard for high-end desktop monitor is more 1920x1200+

  • 6:12 What are you reading there behind the monitor uhhuhh?!!? Got ya!

  • why didn't they do wireless via usb3.0? At least as an option, or do they?

  • A linus measurement is in iPhones.

"This monitor is approx 10,3 iPhones big".

    :D

  • Is the Samsung 950 monitor not far off from unboxing? I've been really interested in getting that monitor, but since it's over $650, I'm very wary about buying it.

  • People still use doicking statoins

  • i wont buy this because i have bad experiencce with usb devices

  • we need a shop like ncix in england! pc world just dont cut it!

  • at 4:53 to 4:58 cameraman's camcorder is either feeling sick, or the cameraman can't make up his mind how much focus settings he wants to adjust to.

  • omfg i miss linus' old hair :<

  • Seems a little commerical like, ncix. Not the usual stuff, few things that are actually useful for most people.

  • I think Samsung is the wrong company to do this. Maybe Intel will buy their patents or something and incorporate it into their next generation of WiDi.

  • @matt56037

    Interesting point

  • This is dumb.

  • Why are these videos only just appearing in my inbox?

  • 9:00 Who is Patrik? The cameraman?

  • so useless

sound in your linus tech tips channel is much better

  • does the samsung C27A750X can support the nvidia gtx 5xx 3d vision?

  • what a load of marketing bollox, 16:9 doesn't equal productivity.

  • How did you get your job and how much do you get paid?

  • SO.. Much... WANT!

  • HDMI blows everything else wired away?

DisplayPort is laughing at you now :P

  • Comment removed

  • @cvdvds lul, there are tons of displays with DP. + whole bunch of amd cards...

  • @cvdvds Except every Dell monitor, every Apple monitor, most new monitors from all other brands, every AMD GPU, every nVidia GPU, all Apple macs and every legacy VGA monitor with just a cheap passive converter, something HDMI cannot do.

Add to that a bandwidth that's 4 times higher and support for daisychaining, and you have to be an idiot to call HDMI better. The only advantage in HDMI is its support by TVs. But for computers DP is the future.

    u mad?

  • @cvdvds ? nothing on earth supports that piece of crap DP? wow..you must really be a computer gaming noob. there's many amd video cards that have full sized, mini sized with adaptors, and rarely BOTH sized display "out" ports. few nvidia cards also have them. apple 21.5" and 27" monitors support that connection natively and more monitors are adopting it as we speak. have fun laughing in the mirror kid. there's your sign

  • @JustCallMeBen that samsung monitor doesnt have display port...

  • @AndehX I know, that wasn't the point. In contrast to what Linus said, Displayport is just vastly superior to HDMI, that's all.

  • @JustCallMeBen vastly is exaggerating a little, but display port is certainly better than hdmi

  • @AndehX For most user that is true, yes :) In fact most users won't even care whether they use VGA or HDMI or Displayport: they see the same image on the screen so they are happy :)

  • @JustCallMeBen im not sure about MOST users. but either way..if that's true..most users ARE DUMBASSES. and just plain ignorant of the massive difference

  • @chronofusion well most users aren't really tech-savy, and didn't update their monitor in the last 5 years, so they are still stuck on VGA ;) In fact, my secondary monitor is also still VGA. But that's just because I'm cheap ;D

  • @JustCallMeBen nothing wrong with being frugal with your money ( aka you saying you're cheap with the secondary monitor). and dvi monitors have been around for the past 7 years maybe more if my memory serves me correctly. more for me to research. cheers

  • Please fix the sound, my ears are bleading... :`(

  • Hope you're paying your camera man a premium to tolerate your rude treatment.

  • 4 monitors? Pffff.... I have a Super HD LED scoreboard. Borrowed it from the Dallas Cowboys.

  • Linus, why you have illegal Windows on NCIX PC ?

  • @jackas95 Non activated Windows are not illegal, as long as you installed from an original disk, which he did, as he has explained numerous times.

  • look at the bottom right corner of NCIX TV in 8:39. There's an info which says "This copy of Windows is not legal" xD

  • @jackas95 you suck man ! he explained about it

  • looks like it took him at least 2 days to go super saiyan

  • @MrIonization lol...i just got finished watching seasons 1 through 9 of dbz. good memories 1999 to 2004

  • i use 2 moniters for porn and other one for porn! no shit i play 2 videos at once and i have a stroke before i go to bed!

  • Very thorough, very good.

  • i agree with linus, using any less than two monitors is just painful

  • Does Linus remind anyone of the guy from Blue's Clues?

  • You should post for NCIX Tech tips. I love them. I do love you unboxings. However I'd love to see reviews after them. Great video.

  • Is the frame rate better when not transferring files?

  • It's a shame it is so damn expensive! I would love to have one.

  • I think Linus needs 1 more ear ring in his right ear.

  • Nice transfer rate, went down from 100+ mb/s to 50 mb/s with seconds. Its really that fast.

  • @onishchuk4 Depends on the kinds of files being transferred. It's much faster with large, sequential reads/writes than with small files. This is normal.

  • @NCIXcom You learn something everyday. Thanks for clearing that up. :-)

  • @onishchuk4 i know right. screw usb 3. bring on Thunderbolt. It actually MATCHES or close a hell of a lot closer to matching their advertised speeds than usb 3. Samsung needs to Partner with Intel to integrate Thunderbolt ports into that monitor. shit. this thing is really not advertised towards the old fart age work environment but towards the multimedia and gaming consumers. I can't find that CA750 27" samsung monitor anywhere online yet. I bet it will be overpriced though.

  • @onishchuk4 u sux ^^

  • visually pleasing....

  • how do i do a horizontal span with two monitors on my gts 450?

  • Get a new mic, please.

  • lols. his windows on the mounted screen isnt genuine.

  • @Turtlelegsable I take it you're new here...

  • @Turtlelegsable its not supposed to be. They use it for testing then trash it

  • @Turtlelegsable It is. They just install it so many times on different hardware set up that it's pointless activating it. It'll be wiped off there within a day or so of it being put on.

  • exactly what i was looking for

  • 27" monitor and it's only 1920 x 1080...? that's cute.

  • @xsonicbladex To be fair, it is wireless. More pixels would hurt performance a little too much over a wireless connection. But I agree in principle. Rather low resolution for such a large display. It would have been nice if they had the option to go to 2560 x 1440 if you connect it by cable but limit it to 1920 x 1080 if using the wireless. Of course they'd also have to use the more expensive dual-link DVI port and get rid of VGA all together too lol.

  • @TalesOfWar I can't wrap my head around why VGA is still used lol, but i get the whole wireless bandwidth limit as a possible problem, but why not make the display the same size as other 1080p monitors (24" in general)

  • I'd like some performance numbers on the Wireless USB interface, particularly when it is being used as a display as well as transfering some files.

  • No USB 4.2.6.7 support?

  • Resolution sucks, it's a shame since it is a nice product.

  • Yeah multiple monitors are great.

  • Please make a How to build a NAS-server video. TY!

  • Awesome

  • I like how improvements are being made for easier laptop use when at home.

I liked my old laptop but it sucked when I was gaming on it. The constricted keyboard and everything. Love my new desktop. XD

  • great tech not quite there yet, also this would be awsome with a power mat aswell just put your laptop on the mat next to the monitor no cables quick and easy

  • @HarithBK This would be PERFECT using Thunderbolt rather than USB.

  • lol nice

  • I like this.

  • I don't like having multiple monitors of different hights, it feels wierd!

  • linus, show us your work desk!!!

  • @dualer208 /watch?v=_-Uor1s2roY&feature=channel_video_title

    Think this is his desk

  • I have the same notebook :) thumbs up!

  • Pause the video at 4:20 and Linus will be looking into your soul.

  • @kevinsdb1 If you are high, then yes.

  • @kevinsdb1 "4:20" cuz he looks into the soul cuz the stoners ^^

  • My keyboard :3

  • I LIKE DESKTOPZ!

  • 6:th to comment :)

  • Not genuine Windows 7 again :O

You work in a warehouse full of copies of Windows 7.

  • @CombedPanther It's in test mode. You can switch test mode on and off. He has it on to probably test drivers.

  • @CombedPanther He has explained why it is not activated before. It is genuine, but each time you change a major component it asks you to reactivate. That takes time and is not worth doing if you are changing components soon again.

  • @MYsterYmarcus ^very good!

  • @MYsterYmarcus Oh, ok.

  • OMG NEVER SEEN VIDEO THIS EARLY, THERES ONLY 29 VIEWS. ^^

  • It's a party in the CIA.

  • damn second to comment
