Cliffrosepoms, thank you for explaining it in simplistic terms. Not only is the statement that abuse IS taking place, it is also a slap in the face to the crew, the dog owner, the producers, the actors, Qwest and all involved. All people do anymore is find fault and state it as fact. People need to learn how to research. The City of Angels Pom Club is a good place to start if doubters are still out there. BTW, the poster of this vid. should include Akesha in the Talent credits too .
Actually, the dog IS real. Her name is Akesha and she is also featured on the front of Hills' science diet oral treats packaging. She is from Southern California and is a VERY nice little dog. She is in a harness that has her suspended. In fact, there are SPCA representatives on the set when these things are filmed. There is NO abuse. I know the people involved with this dog personally and they would NEVER EVER allow their little Akesha to be abused.
This commercial clearly depicts the abuse of a Pomeranian. This is not funny. Qwest marketing you should be ashamed of yourself. What does "Spirit" The Dog the Qwest mascot think of this commercial.
