  • Thanks for posting these! I had the privilege of attending several of his performances and he's just awesome!!!

  • Anyone who likes Robert Cray might be interested in checking out great bluesman Joe Louis Walker, who shared a label with RC (Hightone) for a brief time in the mid-1980s. Their styles are different but equally hip, both are blues legends today. Always love it when RC plays with the Memphis Horns. I loved playing Robert's tunes in my old blues band, and his guitar style was a big influence on me. Loved his bassist Richard Cousins, too.

  • nice thing about this when being drunk: it's two songs so you can listen to it over and over again without getting bored. I'm loving it.

  • Good to know someone my age has good taste. Check out Robben Ford, Popa Chubby, and Anna Popovic. Good music is still around, but it's (unfortunately) really hard to find.

  • I gotta see this guy live. I used to listen to him back in high school. I lost all my CD's and I'd kind of forgotten how much I enjoyed this stuff. Kind of odd considering it had inspired me to buy a guitar 20 years ago.
