Phil is a fucking idiot. Apparently he has no fucking idea what a boss battle is. Of course there are other enemies in the room you fuckwit! If Sledge downs you, then the other guys are there so you can get a second wind. Holy fuck you're stupid.

sledge is easy to kill, just sand in the doorway and closer the door if u take to much damage, then open wen ur shields r back. REPEAT til hes dead.

@vasman5000 Well I got both Electric and Corrosive so Electric can take his shields down and Corrosive to kill him also you probably already knew that.

Sledge was easy for me:

I used my Bloodwing with shock powers to take down his shield. Then I just unloaded with a SMG that did 55 dmg/hit, he couldn't do anything. One clip took him down and I had no dmg against, :)

when i faced sledge i killed him easy but mabye it was becaues up until that point i really was just wandering around and i found a great assault rifle that does 138 damage every hit so yea

I wish I uploaded this vid of me killing Sledge. Anyhow, I took down his shield with my explosive SMG, lured him to the left side, and waited at the top of the stairs. When he got close I fired at his fucking head with my SMG. When you shoot him at close range he does his hammer thing, but it doesn't have effect because you're at the top of the stairs. Just keep him on the left side and NOT up the stairs. He should die like a bitch. P.S. Who's still watching these anyhow? Except me ofcourse.

Tip: in the room with slegde theres a sqaure pathway that keeps going round and round too the right side of the room, which has cover in the middle so he has to follow u round.

Im sure u realise what this means, you can continually make him follow u round it while staying safe, and popping out to shoot him every corner or path along the sqaure. ^^

Yep, that's all I did as the hunter. I didn't pull out anything other than my sniper rifile and just kept picking at his head and running around the corners when he'd get close. Easy as pie.

an easy way to kill sledge is to just throw your scorpio turret at him (if u picked soldier) then run into the room u came from then just keep on entering and exiting the room while you shoot rockets at him then repeat the process

Two things you coulda done and that fight woulda been so much easier..JUMP everytime he hits his hammer on the ground, and AIM FOR THE HEAD. the entire time you were shooting at his body wow.

LOL i've beat SLEDGE when I was level 14; didn't know that i sholudn't do that mission at that time..:)) bit i did it; ofcourse ive got lunky somehow because SLEDGE got out trough the door and into that coridor... the other guys were left behind in the room so it was just the two of us...

i cheated kinda :P i went in 1 door then unloaded til i had to reload and then i went back through the door and to the other door and did the same over and over again with this crazy shotgun i found that is still better then guns i am finding at lvl 25
