Add to that the cost of entry to the park, transport, accomodation (I live in Aberdeen) and you begin to see that videos like this can cost upwards of £300. So slightly more than the cost of recharging the battery.

Guys, some of you seem to think it isnt safe, LOL. I remember going on this as a kid about 25 years ago and i remember the only restraints was a metal bar came down about 6 inches away from my body, cos we couldnt get it closer cos of me dads beer belly :P, the bar then used to move a good 3 inches up n down. Now that was scary, I love it, i prefer the old style rollercoasters where you actually think you might fall out, it adds to the thrill. these days you're packed in and no sense of fear.

Its funny all the complaining about this ride people seem to forget that there have been a few colisions on the pepsi max, a kid was beheaded on the space invader and the wild mouse (best ride in the park) had to have its corners extended because of a fatality years ago. Just ride the bloody things you only live once they are called white knuckle rides for a reason if you dont like them go on the Alice in wonderland ride!!!

Ok. Last year there was a MINOR collision between two trains on the ride. The worst injury was whiplash. The ride has since been limited to one car at a time to stop it ever happening again. Perfectly safe now!

Went on this today, I was scared shitless thinking back to the day I could of been seriously injured on this, but this opened far later than it's original time due to loads of test runs, so if you ask me it's as safe as any other ride.

And "da big 1 crashed 2 init, dat makes it unsafe and i aint ridin dat either cuz itz not safe." LOOK. Accidents happen, like plane accidents. Very VERY rare, but unfortunately, they happen. If anything, rides get even safer after incidents, with extra health and safety implications placed upon them.

Blackpool are just unlucky I guess, and are as safe as any other UK theme park. Fact. Big Dipper IS re-opening once repair work is completed. Still stupid enough to think that it's unsafe? Don't go to the park. Free up the queue lines for people who have a mental capacity higher than a 2 year old.

The Big One may be bigger and infusion may have loops but The Big Dipper is in a class of its own. I went on this twice at the weekend and I loved it. Nothing better than an old wooden coaster.

Pepsi max = Really fast, awesome view from the top, the drop turns your stomach over, when it turns sideways it feels like your gonna fall.

Grand national = Shakes you like hell which is the beauty of the ride, pretty fast, race the other coaster, you go up and down often with different height of drops which is awesome.

Just thought i'll give some info on the coasters i've been on.

What do people think of the big dipper, roller coaster, irn bru and avalanche.
