@starbursthorse54 You could. But I would recommend GIMP or PhotoShop for that because it will allow the use of layers. Picasa doesn't.

Is there a way to change the color of the pictures background?

Overall this program is still pretty basic, so if you wanted to change background colors, something like GIMP would be better.

how do you bring the photo in the editing window? Picasa lists all of my folders, over 100 of them, in a random order that's at odds with Windows, It takes ages just to find a single pic. A really stupid arrangement.

I just redownloaded it, and I have version 3.6

Upon opening the first time, it asked if I should scan the whole computer or just pictures, documents, etc. for pictures, and I had to change to the latter option.

But if thats not your problem, try pressing ctr+O

and searching for the pictures yourself if you know file locations.

I believe you can video edit with it, I never actually gave it a whirl because I didn't get into video editing for a while after the video was made, sorry. =/

I don't have the program anymore... but I am fairly sure that there is an option in on of the tabs for blurring. Then for area effects, and correct me if I'm wrong, change the radius and put it where you want the blur at...
