  • Nice work.

  • Nice work ceo!

  • This is great for newbies in business. They can get lots of useful points.

  • This video is very useful.

  • @saijai587 It is but unfortunately this is not how corporations operate. It might work for a company of 100-200 employees, but 500 plus it becomes convoluted.

  • This CEO is great.

  • Zappos is a great example of this principle. Google them to find out how they go about things. Each of their employees loves working their because they are put first and respected.

It's such a simple concept; it's a pity more businesses don't adopt it.

  • I respect sir Narayan Murthy for truly Indian

    Hope others can understand

  • cheat!

  • So true: "Bad decisions and good decisions ... you have to create trust." "You create trust by pushing the envelope of transparency."

I see everything Mr. Nayar is talking about playing out in companies today that are afraid to embrace an employee-first focus.

  • I KNOW HIS SON!!!!!

  • Great CEO!

  • @Saeon lool i am dude but i am watching it in the last ten minutes before class haha watch this vid's views go up soon

  • who's all here right now because of MGMT 300D with Jane Reynolds? lol

  • Thank you for putting this Video on You tube!!! I love you all

  • there has to be shift from using the term human resources. resources deplete on usage human beings are more like asset that grow in value with time n effort.

  • The best example of putting people first is family. the father generally leads a family n puts his children first because the purpose of his existence seems to be the continuation of his healthy and successful progeny. children become stakeholders of the family name, they take pride in their existence and fight for their family's growth and reputation. Cant apply this model whr CEO (father) works for shareholders and uses his children (employees) as resources- this creates dysfunctional families

  • Interesting, I got the point but I was just wondering about the cost. Because nowadays employee's costs are very high and is not going to increase the cost especially if you put them in 1st?

  • @starmoon937 Depends on what you mean by cost. If you mean a direct impact such as increasing wages then yes it would cost more; however, the goal is to understand that you are taking care of your employees who are the ones at battlefront creating revenue, creating brand loyalty, etc. So can it cost more to do that? Yes; however, will you see a return? possibly. Is it a risk you want to take? Maybe. Mr Nayar is bringing the point out of "What can we(management) do to help you get your job done?"

  • @edwardthetwinky I c, I meant in both direct and indirect way. anyways that was a really good answer thank you :)

  • @starmoon937 what evidence do you have that "nowadays employee's costs are high? show me the data on comparisons between the costs of employee's to business between now and 10, 20, 30 years ago!

  • @ChaosmanOne geez who r u, my teacher? if u really want to know then by yourself
