I only had minor issues with the remake. I didn't like Snake dodging missles like he's in the matrix, the reaction towards Baker (pointing a gun at a wounded old man for forgetting a radio code?), or some of the weak voice acting. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's all weak, but Otacon in the elevator, some of Naomi's stuff, some of Fox's stuff, just kind of bland compared to the original. But mostly, I'm happy they remade it to put it out to new people and spice up some scenes too!

And I meant to add, by "Fox stuff" I only meant a few key voice overs when we first see him and hand to hand fight him. It sounds like his heart isn't in it as much as it was in the original.

But *all* cinemas with Fox were amazing, and his ending lines (and some of the rewritten ending stuff in general) was just awesome. Overall, I recommend people try both versions at least once on normal mode.

I'm a fan of both Sony AND Nintendo, so I measure both companies by the quality of the games they put out. I enjoyed the original MGS, and I enjoyed the remake too. They're different but I'm cool with that. Yelling at Kojima for letting Nintendo do a remake just cause you don't have one doesn't make sense to me.
