  • made me think this one. will be trying this out.

  • Dude I train with guys over 200 pounds and I never have any problems landing bjj moves. If you learn the move correctly and understand the science of it you would know that it's not a power move.

  • good option what you think kiai man haha

  • Great sweep!

  • sry I accidently pressed thumbs down.. Didnt mean to I was talking to my dad and my touchbad did it. :<<<

  • marcello c monteiro showed us this about 5 years ago when him and de la riva was here in the w.v doing a seminar at hile advancedbjj

  • try lifting someone up who weighs 190lbs if ur less than 150. i hate "strength" moves

  • @redblue18700 agreed compete opposite of what bjj should be

  • @redblue18700 thats why Robson does it on anybody and he weighs less than 150 pounds. this move is more about technique than strength

  • @redblue18700 it would work better if the guy in the video crossfaced more

  • @redblue18700 You wouldn't be lifting the entire body weight of your opponent because they would be holding part of there weight so they aren't falling over.

  • @redblue18700 there are loads of moves like this in bjj. you can lif a lot with your legs. its not as if your bench pressing the guy.

  • Thanks you very much for sharing this

  • this is really hard to pull off....

  • this is much harder to do in person, they make it look easy. The guy on top has to be real high and have long legs.

  • looks easy in slow motion...

  • I really like this sweep I usually just go back door to single leg, or take the back from that position but this is a good option. I go to this position while escaping from mount alot but I dont use it much from half guard I have been working double under hooks alot lately so as I dont become a one trick pony.

Thanks for the new option keep up the good work Kiai

  • My kid and I were watching a kung fu movie yesterday when he asks my why dont I kiai in competition. Thats when it hit me that's the one thing that BJJ is missing. Of course BJJ works but its not flashy, and people like kiai like Christopher Walken likes cowbell so I suggest for the good of the art we all start kiaing whenever we do anything pass the guard kiai knee on belly kiai get a take down kiai gain an advantage point kiai before you know it we'll have movie contracts coming out of R asses

  • hahaha i think it will kinda sound weird, i rather not, but good call yup movie for sure xD

  • @itscrazycock I LOVE YOUR COMMENT.

  • @itscrazycock hahahah, from side control, pops up to knee on belly, "Kiaiaiaia!!!!" Shoots hand into lapel, jerk up on arm, "kaiaiaiia!!"

    Scissor sweep: kaiiaiaiiaiaia

Spider Guard, tornado roll, to triangle.... superkiaiaiaiaia, kamehamehaaaaa!

  • Mr. ken pls show the version from dela riva ;) thanks

  • reverse de la riva actually, it stems from the position.

  • ahh i see when the opponent goes for a knee slice pass thanks ken

  • you can actually sweep him forward by just pulling the opponents right knee towards your head :)

  • that will come in handy in practice

  • omg this sweep is SWEEEET im gonna memorize then and practise
