@jacka123100 Well, it's always a matter of opinion and personal taste but, for me, Zeppelin is the best (even though I love the Beatles too). So much emotion from LZ. They manage to cover the whole range of emotions for me, such amazing musicians drums, bass/keyboards, voice.....and that guitar - there's nothing like that guitar.
This was mine and my husbands wedding song, although we were aware of why it was written it had a different meaning for us, but we do always think of Karac too.
People forget this song was not written for a lover, but for Robert Plant's dearly lost child Karac. THAT'S why it's so sad and heartfelt. The song is an epitaph. That's what makes it pull your heartstrings.

I am 68 years old and I have seen and experienced much life. I have to tell you that seeing Led Zeppelin not once... but 4 times has been a highlight of those 68 years. The band affected my life so much, that I really felt this need to thank Robert for all the amazing music he and the guys have given us. I was able to do that through email a few years ago.
For those of you who never got the chance to see them; I am so sorry.. You have nothing in music today that comes close to Zep.
@pratolli Thanks you are not the first to tell me that. I do feel fortunate especially when I look back now. I have seen so many bands in my time...nothing comes close to Zeppelin. They were so special. It is nice to see that today's generation has so much love for them. We had a lot of great music back in my day...today the music isn't anything that I would listen to honestly except for Roberts solo stuff. Now there is one amazing vocalist.

We were not getting any concerts where I lived in Moncton New Brunswick...so some friends and I found ourselves heading to Montreal to see our first big concert. Our choice was to see Zeppelin or the Rolling Rocks..we didn't hesitate and all agreed it was going to be Led Zeppelin. During the show I turned to my friends and they were gone. They crawled out on hands and knees...couldn't take it lol

Well life is strange and I got my wish. I met Roberts friend whom I will only refer to as KB online and told her my story. She explained that she doesn't do this very often; but to give her a month and we will see. One day I got an email from her with a special email address and was told to write my letter. It felt great!
