yeah i had 2 '89's- was a pos. get a 92-up steering box to replace that touchy 89box it'll steer so much better, and convert the efi to sequential mass-air-that'll quicken the throttle response and get rid of that dickhead hang time returning to idle. bit better mpg too. that was the main problems with 87-91's.

Just to add to the Ford Chevy fighting. Look at the new Chevy commercials. Blatant lies in most everything that is said. If you would actually do a little research, Chevy isn't that much higher horsepower, the same exact fucking warranty, and around the same MPG if you average it out. So yeah, Chevy does fake, it fakes the damn commercials and its a crying shame that they would do that on national television. And my 84 Bronco has gave me NO trouble since I've had it. actually the 80's F-150's and the F-250's frames are weak, if you look at them today theres not one that I havent seen where where the bed and the cab meet is leaning down and bent because of how weak the frame is, so I sure as hell wouldnt take that out muddin or anything,

personally I'm not a Ford guy I am diehard Chevy in the 80's Chevy didn't have much luck with making good trucks they made alot of lemons especially with the 6.2 diesel and strapping it to a normal turbo 400 transmission that was eaten alive by that engine they really did a bad job at making trucks then. Today I regard them as one of the best but they had alot of help from Japan to do that at least in the engine. Either way you go Ford or Chevy you are getting something very well built
