  • I sent my non-resident application packet in about a week before Christmas. Allowing for the holidays, I did not expect to see my CCW until March, at the earliest.

It arrived in the mail the first business day of the new year. The people in charge seem to know their jobs, and they do it well.

  • money & control! people shouldn't ask the government for permission to bear arms!!! Wake up America!!!

  • Florida has streamlined the process a little now. I went to the Division of Licensing building in Tampa, brought my photo I.D. and the packet. They did the questionnaire, background check, finger prints and photo all right there, took maybe 20 min. Still $117.00, but I didn't have to pay extra for fingerprints, passport photo or notary fee.

  • arizona no ccw ... :)

  • :O wow. we don't do anything like this where I'm from....

  • If only it were that easy in California.

  • Today in my country the netherlands a wicket man shot 17 people 6 death 4 heavily wounded.

I'm interested in your american culture.

What is the training ant how often you have to train for you have to do to get this permit? tell me as much you can and the differences in different states. or show me a link? this is a sad day for the netherlands

  • @sonofpikaia what is a wicket man?

  • @freeze427 crazy, I thought wicket was a word for it?

  • it would take a million years to get a permit like this in Canada. they are really strict about owning handguns to even start with let alone conceal carrying it

  • How do you get a PERMIT for your other RIGHTS pussys?!

I've been pulled over in Miami 5+ times with my 9mm locked loaded 1 in the chamber they let me go, dunno y, but if you have it in a holster/case you don't need a permit driving, or to own but it's not supposed to be loaded, like I had. But anyway, Fuck gun laws! How about fighting the constitutionality rather than eating shit and paying a price!

  • @suavebone i say we go to war with the government! they are obviously trying to take our right away slowly and this isnt right!! Our rights is to own guns! but to carry is obviously a privliage.. but still all the extra price's on ammo and guns extra steps to buy them its stupid really we need to fight back for our government to be fixed! thats wat the whole point of the 2nd admendment was for incase we had to go to war with our government again...

  • @grandamracer23 "... but to carry is obviously a privliage"(sic)-

"The right to keep AND BEAR arms shall not be infringed..."

    Bear- –verb (used with object)

    1.

    to hold up; support:

    7. to hold or carry

  • @illogicalmethod Exactly!!! Thats wy we need to do something!

  • department of agriculture?

your applying for a license to have a garden ?

  • @ForTheRepubl1c yea, that is what i was thinking, why does it go to them. It is not a permit for growing tomatoes, someone please explain?

  • I live in Connecticut and I sent in my application for Florida CCW. I had my permit within 3 weeks. It's good in 30 states as a non Florida resident and 34 if you are a resident of Florida. It's good for 7 years. It is the best multi state permit you can acquire.

  • im so confused so what age do you have to be to get it 21 or 18??

  • @antonazha 21 years old for CWFL and 18 for class G state wide firearms license. The class G is for people who are in armed security.

  • wow thats hard core, Im in pa and we dont do finger prints or anything, I went in signed papers and took like 20 min to process and then i walked out with my permit. I pitty you man that sucks!

  • @nike12000 hahaha.... Yeah but you register firearms.lol

  • @UnitDead

PA only maintains a database of handgun transfers within state. Since it is legal for a father to transfer to a son, or a husband to a wife without an FFL, that is not recorded nor required by law. We can also buy long guns face to face and that does not get recorded. If we brought any guns while moving into the state, there is no law requirement that we register those fire-arms, either.

  • I live in florida and will be buying a gun soon. From start to finish how long does it take to buy a gun?

  • Nice Video. Question, In section 1 of the application, are they looking for a Florida address? The reason I ask is I'm currently Active Duty in the Armed Forces in California but am a legal resident of Florida and was wondering if I could/should put my Home of Record/Florida address for the residence address and my California addy as my mailing address??? Also for Question #6 in Sec. 2...Is my Military I.D. card all that is necessary for evidence of competency with a firearm? Thanks

  • The reason Floridians have to wait so long is because so many applications are submitted, plus they do background checks when you submit your fingerprints. Unless you submit your fingerprints electronically instead of using the fingerprint card that comes with the application, it cuts down the time to weeks instead of months.

  • wow. I live in West Virginia, and it only took 7 days to get my permit. And that's only cause they actually give you a plastic card. Cost $95 for a 5 year permit here. Didn't need to get fingerprinted or have a passport either. Just my drivers license, application, and certificate of training...and $95 of course. I carry a Glock 27

  • If I were you, I wouldn't just rely on your concealed permit class... I would get training in at least a couple more classes, like defensive handgun and night training. Most attacks are at night.

  • Im a NH resident. By law they have 14 days after they get my application to send me my Permit or to give me a writen reasone as to why i was dennied

  • I got my Massachusetts Resident license with no restrictions in 26 days, I got my Non Res-NH License in 35 days and my PA-Non res license in 41 days.

  • I feel sorry for you guys having to wait so long. Here in Alabama I went by the Sherriffs office at 3:55 asked the lady for a CCW form and she said they close at 4 so I said I will come back tomorrow. She said no thats ok just give me your DL and fill out the form. I had my license and even had her laminate it for an extra $1 and was out the door at 4:01. $21 total good for a year.

  • @dblgonzo i'm jealous. i wish it were so simple in my country :(

  • @shobia99 ha in the state im in you don't need a permit or anything just have to be 18

  • @kdub991 to own one or to have a conceiled carry permit? i also heard they prefer givin stuff to folks with money in some other states...status quo kinda vibes...:(

  • I got my CWP over a year ago and it took 3 months to get it. FL dept. of agriculture is so backed up with applications its rediculous !

  • I sent my application to Tallahassee in MAY-24 and as of today SEPT-5 nothing had arrived in the mail, a friend of mine apply 5 month ago and he still waiting, every body gets the same answer when they call in: TO MANY APPLICATIONS, the waiting time had triple now. Let me know how long it took to get your CCW, so far I`m going crazy because of this waiting sh_ _.

  • That sucks, Ohio we take a firearms couse 40 hrs. at the couse they give you a laws booklet and the forms to fill out from the Attorney General, once that is done you call your local Sheriff's office make an appointment, take all paperwork and a passport photo in the deputy looks over everything takes your fingerprints after your bakround is run you get a call from sheriff to come pick it up takes about 7 days

  • Great info on everything! It really helped
