  • Reminds me of that vid, How to build an upside down fire. I like this concept.

  • Very nice design.

  • Is there any danger in breathing in fumes from a heated up galvanized can?

  • The smokemis from the wood not the can but anyways pretty cool

  • I built it!

I am looking forward for part 4!

    Thanks Lanny

  • u cut down a hickory tree wtf, they take forever to grow and are great wind barriers...dumb ass

  • So how do you get the water out?

  • Try lighting the fire from below.

  • Impressive! Your design looks like a classic rocket stove, fuel and air going in at the bottom.

  • You can make firestarters from Wax and Lint from a your dryer right?

  • Lint from your dryer and Vaseline is what I use. Works GOOD.

  • Thats really cool! =] well thought out, nice job.

  • Excellent work once again.

It' s a pleasure to be here to watch you do your thing.

    Thanks.

  • Very nice production quality on your video. Good text, nice use of zoom and pan. Great work!

  • It's a TwoCan Rocket stove !

Have you calculated the BTU output yet?

  • It is different in that the sticks are placed vertically not horizontally.

The extra height creates a lot more draft and faster air flow.

The smaller openings reduces the excess air. Rocket stoves have way too much.

The combustion air shoots through the smaller openings at an increased velocity. This blast of air moving horizontally across the top of the sticks, as well as through the bottom, mixes combustion air close to the fuel, and shortens the flame path. The TLUD fire on quickens start up

  • Wonderful stove! This is one that I would like to build myself. It sure beats the wood stoves I have with your permissio!

  • Great video and a really neat stove. Counting the days until the video on how to make it is available. Thanks again.

  • Thanks! Great stuff!

  • I love your work! As usual you have exceeded my expectations with your concepts. The simplistic but highly effective design makes this a diy'ers dream! Makes me hungry for more.

I am truly grateful that you are sharing your knowledge.

By the way, the video quality is impeccable!

  • I just rewatched your video, and noted the boil time! HOLY COW LANNY. This stove is something else! Wood burning stove that heats water faster and cleaner than an alcohol stove! My compliments.

  • Another brilliant video and lovely stove concept Lanny, your wire edge pot stand it pure genius. Sure do miss hearing your voice on the vids. The pride you could hear in your voice when you narrated your videos was very nice, and well deserved.

  • Great video, you come up with the simplest plans and you build very efficient stoves, thanks again for a very nice video.

  • Very Well done!! Love your videos and Love your ideas!! ED

  • Lanny..You are an asset to our world.Thank You.

  • you have done it again! keep up the good work!

  • You do good work, Lanny. Compared to the masonry rocket stoves that are around, this is lighter, more portable and about as easy to make. Attaching the ring at the top looks like the most difficult part. Maybe you could devise a low tech way to do that with bailing wire. Looking forward to your update.

  • Another great design Larry. Good to see your retail site up but sadly cannot buy outside of USA. Look forward to more videos and products. Thanks

  • The "Two-Can Stove Developers Build Kit" will ship outside the USA. I plan to take good care of my subscribers. Thanks LannyPlans

  • nice design, thanks

  • That looks much cleaner than the burns I have with my stove. very nice.

  • Another nice one lanny.
