Well done cover. I must say I prefer the Thin Lizzy version better, but Alexakis' voice makes this song different, and interesting, making a very good remake. They also didn't change the tune of it so much that it sounds horrible. Usually remakes sound ultra-pop. Not this one.

Well you know, the key difference between Everclear and Thin Lizzy is that for one, Thin Lizzy are Canadian I believe and also in a way if you look at it Everclear were paying a homage their way. Canada had Thin Lizzy as USA had Jimi Hendrix Experience. In the same fashion, Canada has Rush like USA has Blue Cheer and England has Cream. According to Father of Mine, Art of Everclear sang "it wasn't easy to be a scared white boy in a black neighborhood." Being white, Blue Cheer is keepin' it real.
