  • I THINK IT IS A CRYING SHAME THAT SUCH A TALENTED MAN CAN BE IN SATAN'S CULT. ISLAM THE WORD ITSELF MEANS TO SUBMITT, OR TO SURRENDER. ISLAM IS NOT A RELIGION OF PEACE OR LOVE. IT IS A RELIGON THAT TEACHES HATE AND PREACHES MURDER.

  • I know of Muslim friends who didn't particularly like Cat Stevens until he became a Muslim. Two sides of a coin.

  • fuck you yusuf for ever ....

  • @lonelykillerksa I remember this starting before we were in those lands you mentioned. I clearly remember it heating up back in the 1980s, before kuwait asked Bush senior to get their country back for them. OH, I FORGOT, KUWAIT DIDN'T HAVE A RIGHT to seek help from a non-muslim country. And I'm sure they wouldn't have, if there HAD BEEN A SINGLE MUSLIM COUNTRY who could have helped them. There wasn't any help, and had Bush not helped them, Saddam would still own Kuwait.

  • @barood3 It's the systematic 'forced conversion' that people hate. I know this, because I"m old enough to remember back when no one hated islam. They'd say stuff like: "Oh they believe in the same god, they just worship differently." There wasn't any hatred when I was a child. If muslims didn't insist on showing their ass for the last 30 years; no one would hate them, jews perhaps, but hardly anyone else. People judge a religion on what it produces. Buddest and hindus are not hated.

  • @FlauntussFloyd

Did you mean the Terrorism ?

If you stop the killing of my family in Iraq, Afghanistan and Palestine, things will return as it was when you were a child.

This is your fault. You are creating the Terrorism against the Muslims. And fought the Muslims in Iraq just for oil.

And you gave al Qaeda and Osama bin Laden the guns " to fight the Soviet Union ".

    You are the terrorists.

  • i can see that alot of people hating Cat because his religion .. and they say we are freedom country and democracy ... dont lie too us western countries

  • awesomee!!

  • He now uses "child" instead of "girl", heh.

  • Talent is talent, that will do guitar man!

  • megabeard]

  • I love this version, I love this man and I LOVE his music. Thank You for giving more than you take and leaving this world a better place. Renee Flowers in Atlanta, Ga.

  • @soccermanmessi NO mohamed ali jajaja....

  • @levynatan LOL

  • eric clapton?

  • Im difficult to understand and i find this Zulu

  • I usta love her, but it's all over now :(

  • Did Cat not turn into Yusuff and change so very very very much. To the point he insulted all his fans? It's hard for me to "feel" him since his drastic turn.

Cat Stevens is another man completely. And he turned his back on his fans.

I loved his music until he got complicated. Now I can't see his truth anymore.

  • @chaseitondown that says ALOT about you......

  • this is not zulu...what is he talkin abt!

  • Yusuf Islam the BEST ! :DD

  • I am from South Africa and Zulu is my mother tongue. This man does NOT know isiZulu, he is making a mockery of my mother tongue. He should rather shut up than disgrace himself and millions of real isiZulu speaking people.

  • i wonder if he will speak out about what is happening in the muslim word

  • Cat is a beautiful man with heart and depth in his voice. Always loved this song.

  • This song sounds beautiful even as it is portrait here, I cannot picture Cat Stevens as a muslim, I rather remember him as I a westerner....

  • @AMRCAT04 Why not just picture him as he is?

  • its so wonderful song. i love it.

  • You dont have to sing in English to be talented, regardless of his religion, he is once again, demonstrating being a highly skilled and talented man....

  • he has such a kind, soft depth to him - in his eyes - much feeling to his sweet soul -

  • @SerhatKBD troll go watch Gaga and leave the REAL artists to those who appreciate. child

  • @Duke5399 I was listening to rockn roll when you were probably still on diapers, child.

  • why do unbelievers bring up crap, you don't believe .... move on ..... Beautiful song by a believer

  • If everything is alright, if life goes to well, if I need to feel some hate in the air, I just have to search any Yusuf Islam (er, sorry, Cat Stevens) video on youtube! It's so easy!

  • This is amazing. EOL.

  • Sawubona u Yusuf...! (Zulu greeting) We love your music... always have done!

  • @MetalEradicator

I simply love Cat Stevens .... fell in love with him, his music, everything when I was 16 ...

but I am extremely confused with his conversion to Islam ... the Qur'an does not promote peace but rather dominance and submission .... and yes, it does command hatred for infidels (all who are not Muslims)

  • @Judyinfinity have you ever my dearest friend looked in the quran yourself?

  • Comment removed

  • @Judyinfinity

    no it does not.

Islam means five words in English

    Peace

    Submission

    Surrender

    Sincerity

    Obedience

Infidel refers to Satan Worshippers who existed centuries ago and used to sacrifice humans. The verses in Combat in Quran are the most peaceful in any Abrahamic religion. You can watch Lesley Hazleton's Explanation on this matter...An agnostic Jew who learned arabic and analyzed the Quran. Please stay away from Muslims if you hate them, that includes Yusuf,

  • @0nline1nder

To be certain I am not misunderstood, I stated that I was CONFUSED by his conversion--I did not say anything about my hating anyone, since I do not. What I did say is that from what I have read myself from the translated version of the Qur'an it has an underlying theme of violence towards any who do not follow its beliefs. Cat Stevens was an beautifully gifted man who wrote these songs before his conversion. They simply speak to the heart....

  • @Judyinfinity

Islam is not for the stupid or the bigots to understand and you cannot hate a religion without hating it's adherents. If you are confused by Yusuf's conversion, you should be more confused about hundreds of thousands of westerners who have embraced the religion in the past decade. This includes figures such as British judges, pastors, Atheletes, US veterans, US doctors and many liberal women. These conversions can be found by a simple search on youtube or google.

  • @0nline1nder

The tone in your response is what I am referring to as to being confused by his conversion. I do not hate Islam and did not in any way imply that I did. I simply do not understand how it can be described as peaceful especially with your statements. I feel that your responses to my initial statement are very fearfully based and antagonistic. I wish you peace and a more open heart. Blessings to you ....

  • Judyinfinity perhaps you need to do more research my dear because you don't know what the hell you are talking about.

  • Hey Yusuf, buddy, can you at least trim the beard just a little bit?

  • @MetalEradicator His song are beautiful, there are beautiful people with beautiful ideas in every religion, and I love him and his idea just as much as you do. The 2nd commandment of Chrstianity says: Thou shalt have none other gods before me. Violators of the 10 amendments, in this case non-believers, are punished in hell. Religion is only partly about morality, the major idea is to get FOLLOWERS, to get people to WORSHIP you. That involves denouncing the other religions.

  • ovvv jesus christ what a song

  • I love Cat Stevens and always will....

Today 12-2-2011 with my friend David and me always and forever...

  • Silly to argue over god when there isn't one. EVOLVE PEOPLE.

  • love this song, thank you a lot

  • @MetalEradicator "No religion teaches its followers to hate other religions" that is an unbelievable statement, all the main religions teach that anyone not part of the religion deserves to be tortured for eternity, by default simply for their beliefs. The quran is particularly hateful of disbelievers. And then there is of course smaller religions such as Scientology.

Please amend your statement or correct me. And the rest of you, stop supporting ,this obviously wrong view.

  • @imconfusednow its not all that wrong most religions we say things like "god damn, jesses christ," but we still do worship them so a lot of religions we curse using their name and well its true. the muslim culture is full of pure kind hearted people they are peace loving and their god allah is a very good god. people that say most muslims are tereriosts have said it in stupidity no doubt but they are very peace loving thats my only advice. people say any thing on youtube. it can be stupid though

  • Yusuf Islam (aka. Cat Stevens): Probably one the greatest people alive.

  • NE MUTLU İSZLAMI YAŞAYANLARA

  • @MetalEradicator

    Good post.

It's very very sad that somehow a peaceful man can be accused of being a sponsor of terrorism.

Listen.....I will NEVER be able to fully understand and connect to the way of life and culture that's dictated by Islam. For me it;'s just too different.

But I don't "hate" because of it. And Yusuf Islam is the last person who we should consider a hate figure. He's someone who spends his time trying to be the "border" between our worlds.

I just don't see it at all.

  • allahuakbar...!!

  • @MetalEradicator You are a complete idiot. 1 God 1 faith? Adam? Hindus have 1 god? You are utterly rediculous.1st, about hindus? No. Just No plain & simple. Hindus have 100s of gods. It is just that simple, do not ignorantly shrink their core religious beliefs so they play into your own religion & your religious agenda to push it onto other people by making false claims of other religions. Religion & belief in god is childish, arrogant & unintelligent, not to mention absurd. Read Richard Dawkins

  • @Celtic505 So. This is what you do on your free time?

  • @R0b1zzle137...do we know eachother from somewhere? Your username is incredibly familiar. I just cant place it. Anyways, what are you getting at mate? I saw this video & clicked to listen to the song & then I read some asshole writing about how hindus are really monotheistic in some sick ignorant attempt at twisting other cultures beliefs for his own egotistical agenda? Something had to be said. I don't see where you get me going around on some atheist crusade from that, that hurts my feelings

  • @MetalEradicator excellent top comment

  • this guy is awesome

  • I yuv you Cat!

    Marry me :)

  • cat stevens is a fag now

  • NO RELIGION TEACHES HATE.....ITS ORGANISE RELIGION THAT DOES THAT THEY WANT MONEY,TEACH HATE,KILL IN THE NAME OF GOD,AND INGRAIN FEAR........RELIGIONS RUN BY MAN....I REALLY HOPE ALL HUMANITY WILL SEE THRU THESE SO CALLED LEADERS.MAYBE THE ONLY WAY TO RID OF THEM IS TO PUT THESE SO CALLED LEADERS IN THE FRONT LINE OF THE WAR WHEN THEY PROFESS ONE,THEN WE WILL SEE HOW MANY IS LEFT......LET THERE BE PEACE AND LOVE FOR ALL

  • @MetalEradicator I love your sentiment and message of anti-hate, but I disagree with one part of this. Not all religions lead to one god. The third most common religion in the world is Hinduism which is certainly not monotheistic though some sects view Krishna as the highest being. The fourth most common religion is Buddhism, which can be most aptly labeled non-theistic. I am agnostic, so I get annoyed when people say we should all unite because we all worship one God. It is simply not true.

  • Cat Steven's song's is part of the reason I'm not religious anymore. It's clear that all war's and bloodshed is directly related to religion. That is why I am spiritualist first and foremost now.

  • @pieterhildebrand Namaste brother :)

  • @MetalEradicator you assume there is one, and there is lots of good debate on that, we can go as far as the big bang, 13.7 billions years ago, god is behind this if there is still a place for him, before he was right on earth creating adam and eve and the animals, now we know it wasnt the case, evolution did,

my point is, there is no reason to beleive in a creator, then not, science say we are working on it we dont know religious people say we DO KNOW, and here is how you should beleive in him

  • Durka Durka JIHAD!!!!!! Kill the infidels!.... well, no. :)

  • i can accpept his religion that doesnt matter to me at all but when you have the most badass name ever, Cat Stevens, why would you ever want to change it lol

  • @MetalEradicator how wrong is that statement, you obviously have a liberal interpretation of the writting,

fact, islam say infidel wont get to heaven, they should be banish, and war for god is justify,

the old testament is also share with jew and christian, and it says pretty much the same thing, and every religion claim to be right and other wrong, that lead to division of mankind, and is really just a bunch of old stupidity put together, morality has been prooven to be detached from religion

  • @MetalEradicator

since when does every religion lead to just ONE god?

  • @MetalEradicator Also, Cat Stevens father was not Greek, he was from Cyprus, which was colonized by greeks over thousands of years. And the Koran unfortunately contain instructions to convert infidels or kill them, but that does not mean that the people if Islam necessarily will follow that path.

  • @MetalEradicator Not all religions even have a god, and some have multiple gods. Buddhism, Confucianism, Zoroastrianism. But I understand what your are trying to say, I love Cat Stevens as much as I did when he wasn't

Islamic. And yes, the Koran and the Bible both contain violent things, but that doesn't mean the people of the religion necessarily follow them.

  • @Owliganka no that just mean they see what they want in those book, giving sence to old writting in a new modern context, really those book should be see as symbolic early literrature nothing else,

  • could we have the lyrics and the explanation please ? this version is magic !

  • lol he just pawned the crowd. " you dont believe me?"

  • this rawks .

  • his voice has aged so gracefully. Man what a talent. So many years since he was on top.

  • Obviously took too many drugs in the 70's CAT.

  • @borderlineclayts maybe you should take some. Perhaps then you'll cease to be a judgmental prick.

  • Regardless of his name, religion, where he lives, what he does... he's still an amazing musician and has an absolutely wonderful and beautiful voice. The music is still just beautiful.

  • @katmagicate And a wonderful man as well. The reason why his music is so beautiful is because he has so much joy in himself. He is always smiling, and is so kind. Amazing how he still has such a great voice at his age. Blessed man.

  • His eyes remain so kind.

  • does anybody know what the zulu part means?

  • Christianity is a cult.

  • WOW! I CANT BELIEVE I WASTED MY TIME READING THIS CRAP! YOU PEOPLE, WITH ALL RESPECT, ARE FULL OF RELIGION. I CANT TAKE IT. I JUST WANNA SAY; I DON'T CARE! NOW GO WITH YOUR BORING TALK SOMEWHERE ELSE! PLEASE DON'T RUIN ONE OF MY BEST SINGERS VIDEO!

  • Are you guys serious??? Cant you just enjoy the song?? His religion makes no difference!!! Hes a very tatented artist.

  • i love this man and he welcom to islam with respect for christian relegion

  • Ugh. The point about his faith is that he stopped playing because he said that Islam prohibited him from singing. I guess he found a loophole?

  • Come on stop critiquing his religion so if he is Muslim!!

His music comes from his heart not from his religion!

  • @LolCaramelz hey you, stop being an ignorant bitch. some of us are trying to be progressive.

  • why did he have to go fucking crazy.

  • @TheViralNation I didn't know he went crazy? When was this?

  • what the fuck happened to him....?

  • @kosamf What do you mean?

  • traitor

  • if you want all the truth

islam = peace in the whole world

and its something that makes you happy when you realy know it

a real muslim is like yusuf islam ( cat stevens ) not the others they are all guilty and not realy like original muslims who know they religion

because a muslim respect all the other people in the world and want peace and love

  • Comment removed

  • why not sing what you mean?

  • New words n zulu? what does that mean?

  • Islamic followers would not let him perform the song in its original version nor would he wish to because it would be considered evil. So thats why the words have been changed to Zulu. He has renounced worldly evils so that is why the lyrics have been changed/disguised. Ask him what the new words mean & I'm sure they're only directed to his faith. Well at least he performs on occasion nowadays but its not the same cause to help people you've to reach them on their level- he forgets this...

  • Im a Christian but wtf his religion has to do with his music? Its like saying something bad about Zidane because hes a muslim, it doesnt make him less of a football player

  • @Njzizskmp You are 100% right. I don't understand, thirty years ago Americans loved his songs of peace and understanding. He cared about the planet and everything that lived on it and to this day his songs still reflect that. Why then should some people define him now simply because of his religion? Maybe that is where the lesson is at. Race, religion, skin color, male or female, sexual preferance, it does not matter. Only the good in people and how they try to help humanity.

  • @Houdini774 I agree with almost everything you wrote, except that Im a Christian and according to the Bible homosexuality is a sin and in my own opinion it is not something to be taken as "normal", but other then that you're right: race, religion, nationality, male or female, it doesnt matter.

As a matter of fact it doesnt even matter if hes a good man or not, you dont care if your postman is a good man as long as he does his job right. Hes not my friend, so he can be a bad man for all i care.

  • @Njzizskmp If you really are a genuine Christian, how can you possible say "Christian" and "wtf" in the same sentence? Do you not care at all about your witness?

  • @OneJohnFiveTwelve Yes I am, Im real Christian unlike you, because ONLY Orthodox Christians are true, genuine Christians and last time I check, there is not many Australians that are Orthodox (except for immigrants from Serbia,Russia,Greece..) 2nd thing, there is nothing wrong with using curse words, cause those are just words, as long AS LONG AS YOU ARE NOT INSULTING ANYONE.

Yes, its not polite to curse, but it has nothing to do with religion! Out of everything I said u only noticed "wtf"?!

  • @Njzizskmp "Out of everything I said u only noticed "wtf"?!"

Simply because I didn't disagree with anything else you said. But if "wtf" indicates to me that your Christianity hasn't radically changed your life, it will indicate the same to others. Is that your desire?

Do you think that "wtf" reflects Paul's instruction in Phil. 4:8: "...whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue..."?

  • @Njzizskmp "ONLY Orthodox Christians are true, genuine Christians... Serbia,Russia,Greece.."

Clearly you are not using the term "orthodox" to describe Biblical faith but a denominational standpoint. I don't know very much about "Orthodox", but I am saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. In other words, Christ earned my salvation and there's nothing more I can do to earn it. I can only live, now saved, in a way He would want me to live.

  • @OneJohnFiveTwelve Christianity did not radically change my life, I was born a Christian and I will most likely die a Christian, as Im growing older Im trying to study it and embrace it more and more, but Im not a "born again" Christian or whatever you call it, so I didnt change radically, I am what I am....90 percent of people will say they're "Christian", but out of those 90 percent, maybe 1 out of 10 is truly living a life the way God wants the humans to live it. With the rest u said I agree

  • @Njzizskmp " I was born a Christian"

I'm sorry to have to tell you this, but no-one is 'born a Christian". Becoming a Christian involves the work of the Holy Spirit to convict you of sin and draw you to repentance and trust in Christ.

  • @OneJohnFiveTwelve Maybe in your phony religion "no one is born a Christian", if my people were Christians for over 1000 years and if every single one of my ancestors and family members were Christians, that makes me a Christian too.

Or rather, you become a Christian when you are a few days old, when you are baptized. There is a reason why in Christianity children are baptized when they are still little babies. It is because if a baby dies after being baptized, it is going straight to heaven.

  • @Njzizskmp " that makes me a Christian too." Right. So your Christianity depends not on your response to Christ, but on the beliefs of your ancestors and relatives? Have I got that right?

Christianity does have many denominations. Some do have infant baptism. Mine does not. But as far as I am aware, other than Roman Catholicism (which is not a Christian denomination but a heretical sect) none believe that salvation comes through infant baptism. It is an expression (more)

  • @OneJohnFiveTwelve All babies go to heaven for they do not have the ability to sin at that age. Catholics believe this. We have Christ as the focal point of our church. Our church has history all the way back to Jesus and Peter, who headed the first church. Baptism is a promise and to be brought up to know Jesus, it washes away original sin, it does not guarantee a fast track to heaven for anyone that knows the difference between right and wrong but still sins. God Bless and Love.

  • @MrDougsand "babies go to heaven for they do not have the ability to sin at that age".

At what age does the ability to sin occur? I would contend that as soon as a person has the ability to be self-centred, he, or she can and does sin. I don't have to debate the fate of babies. I trust God with them.

Can you show me where the Apostles taught that baptism has any virtue in washing away a single sin? I believe they taught it as an outward sign only. Only Christ's sacrifice cleanses from sin.

  • @OneJohnFiveTwelve People reach the age of consent around the age of 6 to 8 years of age, some people later, and others never dependeing on their mental ability.

As for Baptism, it is a ritual that symbolizes you will be a Christian and turn away from sin. The original sin that Adam and Eve brought into this world is washed away. Just as Jesus was circumcised into the Jewish religion (for Jesus was a Jew) and then baptized in the river jordan. So should us all be baptized into the Love of God.

  • @MrDougsand "...age of consent around the age of 6 to 8..." So you don't think a child under 6 is capable of sin?

Yes, baptism is a command. But you have yet to show me where the Apostles taught that it has any efficacy in "washing away sin". My understanding of Scripture is that it is a sign only, of the fact that trusting in Christ's atoning sacrifice on the cross has washed away original sin AND every sin we ever commit, providing we are not "crucifying Christ a second time". God bless you.

  • @Njzizskmp (continued) that the child will be brought up in the knowledge of Christ, as THE Way, THE Truth and The Life, and that no one comes to the Father except through Him.

The Apostle John said, "He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life."

How about you? Do you have the Son?

  • @Njzizskmp zidane is not muslim....fuck u

  • @tintinex Yes Zidane is a muslim and when he retired he went to Algeria and said: "I played for France, but I am Algerian" and kissed Algerian flag...and oh yea, fuck your mother

  • @Njzizskmp Headbutting does though.

  • @meezocool lol you got to put it in the perspective: Materazzi was pulling on his shirt, Zidane said: if you want I'll give you my shirt after the match, while Materazzi responded with: I would prefer your whore of a sister, thats when Zidane did what he did, I dont think it makes him any less of a football player, that was his last game and instead of finishing his career as a World Cup winner he ended it with a red card, but 3 seconds of an angry reaction cant throw a shadow on his career

  • @Njzizskmp Zidane, Benzema and Nasri are algerian, normal they are muslim.

  • Well, Mr. Stevens' faith doesn't need my approval, or anyone's for that matter. Neither his faith, nor the changing of his name nor the addition of Zulu lyrics adds or subtracts from this song...what DOES subtract, from this song in particular, is the changed chords, melodies, and what can only be called a signature little acoustic guitar rift being left out. The words are a sweet message...he once said live that he thought he wrote it for himself...but the music was the magic that soothed.

  • Religion is the root of all evil. Its complete contrived shit and irrelevant. But because unfortunately the human race needs to have answers we decide to believe in this made up crap about some higher power. I dont care if Cat Stevens worships a fucking goat with ten dicks. Its his music I love. Humans are humans.

  • Come on boys, let's be hippies (again?).

  • i love him so much

  • @4CHRISTONLY1 No he worships Allah. Because he is a Muslim.

  • @4CHRISTONLY1 ummmmm no, you are completely off base and obviously ignorant about Islam. It is very similar to Christianity in fact, and has nothing to do with being communist or worshipping the devil. Why don't you go do some research before throwing out words that you don't know the meaning of.

  • Wow...wonderful....

  • You're the best Full Stop.

  • its funny how people say cat stevens is an amazing talent.... in my opinion he has little talent... but he has combined that talent with his love and hasnt filtered and just does what he feels.. and its quite extraordinary

  • @rdicko86 You just described what makes Cat Stevens an amazing talent. He is able to combine his talent with an unfiltered love for his music. Yes, Cat Stevens is quite an extraordinary person.

  • who cares that he became muslim?? everyone has a right to believe in something and who has the authority to say that what anyone believes in is wrong?? I am a pagan and love cat stevens..Yusaf for his musical talent rergardless of anything else :)

  • he's an amazing talent, and that is undeniable.

  • @F08M any religion is shit and crap . Only few who organized it collect the money from stupid "believers"

  • @takeaction01 nothing wrong with believing in a better world.

  • @Gingercookiedude well . believing in better world does not mean killing another people . any religion bring only horror and destruction . if you thing that relegion and better world have something common you are fooled :(

  • WTF???

  • No matter what laungage he uses, his voice has such calmness over it, love it

  • Is there a reason behind the lyrical change? Bana? Going to assume that's baby in another language?

  • I beliave that there is a world which is not wild and not being smash but such world isn't in a dream or in a virtual land.it is true and we all the people will see nearly time.i think that all muslims hoped this world.

  • All religions are dangerous; doctrins are dangerous; strories created about god by the human are ridiculous and also vry dangerous...We must find the real human pacific life philosophy my brothers, and all together. Known religions are just a pretext to make bad things. IM NOT A HUMAN THAT WAITS FOR A GOD TO MAKE LOVE AROUND ME. MOVE YOUR ASS TO MAKE LOVE AND DONT WAIT FOR SOMEONE ELSE TO DO THE JOB. BECAUSE THE THING YOU CALL GOD IS INTO ALL OF US! ;) Peace And Love Brothers!

  • Calling my girlfriend a bana from now on

  • note how he replaces 'Baby baby' with a zulu word and omits 'girl' from "and alill always remember you, like a child, girl so as to not offend his muslim fans, but also not to alienate non muslims. Slick.

  • note how he replaces 'Baby baby' with a zulu word and omits 'girl' from "and alill always remember you, like a child, girl so as to not offend his muslim fans, but also not to alienate non muslims

  • He made some great tunes, but ever since he turned his back on the western culture for a life of islam he hasn't done anything musically at all that I've heard and nothing but piss people off with his political views. I remember a while back when they denied him entry into the US and I laughed my ass off. He'll end up shooting his mouth off and pissing of some of his radical muslim brothers and end up with his head cut off and stuffed into the hole in that guitar. Remember It's a wild world.

  • @STARFIRESOLAR You are an asshole and have not a clue of what you have commented on.. Just the facts please

  • what is happening is a peculiar form of Yusuf Islam's parasitism characteristic of Jews...if he was so disenchanted with the West, why capitalize on those songs? Create something new rather than revamp the old...

  • Typical White people thinking that they are more indigenous than the indigenous...more black than black....more spiritual than spirituality...all he is doing is peddling his "western disenchantment" on muslims to make profit even if he does donate...this is sick

  • I respect Cat Stevens and his ancient Euro-Nordic heritage, but I don't respect the typical neo-colonialism that manifests itself as another "white man" appropriating the religions of the southern global hemispheres...

  • I'm not religious not christian or satanist or muslim or jew or w/e

But this sir is something else

he is one of the few people that actually doesn't give religion a bad name and has an amazing talent
