It is NOT "Rockapella"! The artists who perform this acapella version will probably remain a mystery forever. Although "Rockapella" is extremely talented they are quite frankly, not that good. It is undoubtedly, a group of session or studio singers recruited by the show's producer/owner to give this season a new perspective and possibly attract a new demographic.
I thought that, too, but there's really no way we'll ever know for sure...this was around the time they were doing Carmen Sandiego (or right before...the first GP to feature this version of the song was in the fall of 1990), and the only thing I can figure is that a contract obligation to Carmen prevented them from taking credit for this song. The thing is, no Rockapella history I've ever read indicates that they EVER sang this song, and you'd think they would claim since its popular and all!
I hate this version.

Lol....Leonardo DiCaprio...he so does not fit in. But he was a funny addition to the show. Too bad it didn't last song.

Not that it's the Gospel... But on Rock's Wikipedia page, it does state Rock as the artist who sang the theme song.
And it most definitely sounds like Scott and Barry.

I'm almost positive this is Rockapella.
