Respect. Every time I think I have found my favourite Genesis song, I listen to another like this and now THIS is my fav. (until I listen to another unique and beautiful Genesis song, crafted and aged. Chippendale music in an era of Ikea dross.
i just turned 51 years old.havent listened to this stuff in years.still so fantastic, saw them live about 7 times, met them at merriweather post pavillion.so long ago.420 was good and my girlfriend back then was hot...such fond memories of my early years.thank you genesis.oh yea no need to compare yes and genesis both great both worth listening to forever.and as jon anderson said we loved the shows our audiences were always the inteligent stoners.word
I M A 53 YEARS OLD BLACK MAN IT WAS THE FIRST ALBUM I BROUGHT I WAS 19 MY SECOND WAS PINK FLOYD WISH YOU WHERE HERE / BACK IN THE DAY BAND WAS BAND IN 88 PHIL COLLINS SEATED NEXT TO ME REVIEWING IS TAPING SONG ANOTHER DAY IN PARADISE WHEN I WAS WORKING AT THE TV STATION V C F IN PARIS FRANCE /
My favorite studio album by Genesis. Listen to the clarity...the musicianship...the orchestration. It all leads to an incredibly collaborative effort that highlighted the strength (and artistry) of each band member. 1+ 1 = perfection...in my humble opinion...
I have to agree with realkrome, I heard this song at the tender age of 11, now 36 years later I can appreciate what the lyrics are aying... We grow old, we lose our looks... sad but true. Again Big Thanks to Moonlitknight for upload, now off to dry my tears
used to play this before I went to sleep - bled the LP version dry

Great song, I often keep thinking it's Peter Gabriel singing instead of Phil Collins
