AllenMarshall, perhaps you have taken shrooms, perhaps you haven't. But I can say that if this is what you think a shroom trip is like, you are very mistaken. You do not see psychedelic colors, objects or people glowing or basically anything shown in this video. The only visuals I have ever seen or anyone I know has seen are patterns everywhere. That is it. Now an acid trip is another story. Shrooms are 70% mental Trip 30% visual. End of story.

However, acid is much more of a reality distortion whereas when your goin hard on shrooms it's more like your turning through pages of a book, each page being a level of consciousness. on the first page you have the conscious consensus reality, on the last page you have dreams (deep into the bardo). You sift through them rapidly (your shifts in perception point this out) and your imagination begins to blend into reality.

Shrooms (especially quality species like cubensis) just have a tendancy to go towards fantasy and the imaginary. You know, as I sit here and read your comments, I remembered one key thing that I overlooked in my ignorance. Everyone is different and drugs effect everyone differently.(I started my trip at a park at night time) My trip began about 20-30 mins after I ate them. I just felt extremely stoned for a good 30 mins. I then got a wierd tingly, almost excited feeling in my gut. I had to get up and move around. My visuals started at the trees in the park began flowing, making a movement like a snake.

About 10-15 mins later is when I began seeing patterns all over the grass. For me they were as if shadows of giant snowflakes were covering the ground everywhere. I did have 2 instances where I thought I was in an entirely different place(I first thought I was in Lord of the Rings as my friend was playing epic bagpipe music, similar too what you'd hear in the movies. My second instance, I thought I was in Halloween town). I was also much more perceptive of nature, mainly trees. I was one 2.5 g's

I have never done LSD I must say and don't plan on it ever since I read the book Blow and learned of George Jung's bad trip. I can say I never had dreams when on shrooms though, nor did I see any psychedelic colors. I did go to an attraction in the city I live that I'm sure you would be jealous of. (I did these around x-mas time last year and I went too this x-mas light show. It is a park full of trees, walkways and bridges. Everything is covered with diff colored lights. It was quite euphoric
