the right thing to do is to go to a salon and get a thin layered cut, get it thinner or not shorter for his other videos, cut only the thickness not the length, then the only thing straighten up your hair with iron is the bangs!

You straighten it first if you have the same hairstyle like his. Make sure you straighten it up so the hair would stick out in all directions. only straighten the back and make sure that it sticks out in all direction. Then You apply a lil bit wax just like what he did in the vid.
