started a business a few years ago fine under labour, since the torys im nearly out of work as more and more people cant afford my services as a guitar teacher. but i must be a liar as david camoron said his cuts wont hurt the private sector, well as a result im spending less in fact i only go out to work and i only eat one meal a day to save money to pay the bill now, fuck you right wingers, love bill and id like to do an album with you
I agree with him, change these days is pointless, all it means is "we'll ignore our current problems and create some new ones!". It's just a word opposition use to suggest the current administration is failing and they can offer something better. Instead of coming up with new problems to solve, we should focus on solving the ones we already have. When the country lies in ruins, Cameron can honestly say he delivered what he promised. After all, whether good or bad, change is change.
Its sad how cameron is so unoriginal that he has to copy Obama slogans (ie "Change") and copy his poses (ie the hands in pockets approach) and his speech techniques (watch as you'll see how cameron copies obamas hand gestures and tempo in his speeches)
There are so many other guys who could have a better bash as PM! Not only that, but instead of putting an economist Einstein like Cable as Chancellor of the Exchequer, we get Gideon "brain absent" osbourne! For crying out loud!
Nah i miss the good old days of strikes, riots, free clothing and food cos no one could afford them, entire estates boarded up, etc. The poll tax and sell out of hospitals schools and the transport system were just ingenious by the Tories, we want more!!
I respect Bill even more now, if such a thing were possible!
Sick of hearing the word "Change" this campaign, its too much of a cliche for it to have any effect. I have voted Labour, Gordon knows what is best for us more than the other two main parties. I have never liked Conservatives, and I don't trust the Liberals. Labour is, in my opinion, the best option for this country at the moment.
Read the World Wealth Report 2009.Over 99% of tory voters would not be affected with a Future Fair For All fair redistribution of wealth.Crazy? Vote Labour.
Before you vote ask yourselves where is all the money? A vast amount of wealth is being hoarded by the ultra wealthy as the World Wealth report 2009 shows. Will David Cameron funded by a billionaire redistribute a fair amount of this wealth? Not in 33,000,000,000,000(thirty three thousand billion) years! Inexperienced Nick Clegg ? No! Only Gordon Brown Has the guts and Personality to sort out the bankers and billionaires.Vote Labour.
The TORIES.. ..will NOT cut taxes for the middle classes. ..will NOT stop cuts in the nhs. ..will NOT regulate banks more strictly. ..will NOT stop big city bonus culture. ..will NOT reduce the gap between rich & poor (but will increase it). ..will NOT protect child tax credits. ..will NOT stop the spending tens of billions on war. ..will NOT invest significant amounts in British industry. ..will NOT give you electoral reform. TORIES = ELITESTS TORIES = SUPPORTED BY TOFFS & RUN FOR TOFFS.
My dad has worked as a manual labourer all his life and told me that the 80s under Thatcher were the hardest times he's ever experienced. The idea of a Tory government makes me sick and I hope that seeing familiar faces putting forward their views goes someway to counteract the rubbish that is plastered all over the sun and news of the world every day. Vote Labour.
There is no change. The EU rules the UK,any Government in Westminster is nothing more than a glorified county Council. "a nation of sheep will beget a government of wolves"
i dnt mind between lib dem or labour but i would hate for the conservatives to win, last time they were in power the country was shit, and there policies are still just as bad.
@yourmumisadick Shows how easily swayed people can be, hear the word "change" and immediately presume everything will be alright. If Cameron gets into Number 10, then it really proves how much the media has an affect on our lives. I say don't let Murdoch pull your strings, use your head and the only conclusion you will come to is Labour.
Labour is the only party that has the experience and skills to help Britain ride out the storm of the global recession. The conservatives and lib dems. are just wind-bags, promising a whole world of things they can't deliver. The amount of make-up that Cameron and Clegg wear is just a testament to the importance they place on appearance over substance. They may look and sound good, but do you really want a pretty boy charlatan to run the country for you?
Labour, Bill? Really? Somehow that surprises me. I would have thought the Iraq war (subject of much discussion in your shows) would have been enough of a reason not to be voting Labour. Having said that, at least you're not voting Tory ;)
@ViralVideoChartFR well this is the worst recession like ever and here we are on the internet able to moan about it whilst channel flicking on our plasma tvs, as bill stated before he lived under a bridge i was more fortunate and lived in a caravan on a field with cb radio as my internet under torys and that was without any recession :P but he's right i can cope with labour if the country today is the worst they have to offer
@monteith100 The pound being weak can be good for the country as it means it is cheap to come to for tourists and companies.
The debt is only so high because we had to bail out the banks, it wasnt that high before. And the banks failing were because of a global finicial crisis, that hurt everyone not just us.
And where did u hear america doesnt like gordon brown???
I hope that everyone who says they are going to vote Labour, actually does tomorrow. If people "can't be bothered" then we all know what will happen....
Did someone edit out the punchline or is this just the result of that bad pint I had last night? By all means encourage people to vote Bill, after all you've got plenty of sway with the young ones. But ask them to vote for Labour? or for Tories or for Lib Dems for that matter... do one mate, don't care how you're voting. Having got that off my chest I will say you're acting is much better than Ross Kemp's, so well done on that one.
Constant tax increases, inheritance tax well below inflation, huge amounts of illegal immigration every year. Disregard what the public wants, refuse to recognise the individuality of your own country. Refuse to see the 'Robin Hood Tax' as a good idea and allow the banks to continue to rip of the public.
You're right Bill. We don't want change, or is this part of your amazing, surrealistic comic genius you are known for? I do hope so!
How does David Cameron say It is time for change so convincingly. What we should all understand is he does not mean a change for the better. He means a change for the worst.
We know how we got to this situation.Which politician is more likely to see the solution as opening the floodgates on the billionaires accumulated wealth to ease our financial woes.David Cameron who is funded by a billionaire? You must be joking! Inexperienced Nick Clegg? No! Gordon Brown tackling the bankers and billionaires. What a delicious thought.
Quite a surprise given what Bill has to say about Tony Blair and the Iraq War.
Bill's right; in some constituencies, such as his, a vote for the LibDems will make it easier for the Tory to win but that isn't true of all constituencies. A vote for the LibDems anywhere strengthens the case for electoral reform, and in some constituencies it's voting for Labour at the expense of the LibDem candidate which will help a Tory take the seat.
Labour needs to put the fear of god into people and QUICK This is all well and good having Bill Bailey and Eddie Izzard saying Labour is great but its not going to sway anyone one way or another. People want change. They want
the people who created this finnincial mess paying the price. Why are they carrying on as normal. While the rest of us are going to face cuts job loses and tax increases? The whole system is screwed.
@philrocks08 No it isn't. If you live in a Conservative/Lib Dem contested seat where Labour have no chance of winning (as I do), a vote for Nick Clegg is a vote against David Cameron.
oh bill bil bill, I expected it of some but not you... still love you and always will but your better than them, leave 'em to squabble amongst themselves.

It is so important to keep the economy balanced and on track.
Greece failed because she was insanely de-regulated, 30% of her GDP was undeclared !
We need to keep banks stable and get investment in jobs, we need to invest in skills so we can take advantage of growth as we recover.
Ireland taxed those earning over 50k Euros more, it was seen as fair and worked.
Labour wants to model out education system on Denmark, best in the world.
