All who receive the Aaronic Priesthood are of the tribe of Levi. Even though Israel had 12 sons that lead 12 tribes, two instead of Levi (who leads all nations through the Aaronic Priesthood) and Joseph, you have Joseph's sons Ephraim and Manasseh.

It seems pointless to argue about priesthood authority when people that are trying to teach it here are clearly so ill informed they cannot make sense of the scripture they are quoting. We are the only church on the face of the earth to profess to have received the priesthood from those ancient apostles themselves, though dead they came back as servants of the Most High to brig back the authority of God. Why else would something have to be restored unless it was originally lost. see Rev 14:6

It was not his calling to restore the gospel, that was given to another. The 3 Nephites wanted to tarry to help convince there brethren of the true gospel, they too eventually were taken because of the wickedness of the people. Ever wonder why they killed all the apostles in the New Testament but banished John to the Isle of Patmos? Probably cause they could not kill him.

Holy Crap, I haven't watched the video yet. But, Jesus was the only one able to hold the Melchizedek priesthood and couldn't hold the Aaronic. He was the only one able to because he was the only one perfect.  This raises the question though...who was the Melchizedek mentioned in Hebrews? Levi? No I am not. Was there priesthood before Levi? Yes. Who was Melchizedek? Was he perfect? No. Seems like you don't have all the answers after all. What would you like translated? Only those decended from Levi can be of the Aaronic priesthood. As explained in Letter to the Hebrews, Jesus is the only and last member of the Melchizedek priesthood. Kids are not qualified to be deacons or elders, according to the Bible. It's pretty clear on that. I keep hearing that the Bible isn't translated correctly. So has any LDS come up with a "correct" translation yet? (answer: no).

The only confusion really is with the Mormon thought processes.

No, she is not "twisting" anything. Yes, what is said here is true. Face the facts LDS, your church is corrupt, false and an abomination to God. As she explained here we have no need for the priesthood.

In the LDS church today the priesthood is for stroking a man's ego, and elevating him to godhood, that's all. They have no actual "authority".

She doesn't know what she's talking about. Where did you get that information that the priesthood is being transfered from one person to another in the Mormon church? They merely ordained others as they are called to serve in the church. Ordination to the priesthood is not transferring the authority but giving the charge "as was Aaron". When Christ ordained His apostles, did He transfer the priesthood to them? This is why the reason , women are commanded to keep silence in the church.

For their time, when blood sacrifice was necessary in the temple, it was Aarons seed who held the Aaronic Priesthood. Today, the sacrifice is no longer necessary because of Christ and the Aaronic Priesthood has different responsibilities and it is given to all worthy males who are of age without regard to race or tribe.

Sure the Aaronic Priesthood performed blood sacrifices in early times. That is not necessary any longer because of Christ. The priesthood has been reorganized. It has continually been reorganized throughout history as Jesus organized His Church, He ordained apostles, passing on His priesthood authority to them. They, in turn ordained others to this priesthood by the laying on of hands. There were never apostles before, but then there were and now there are again today.

Also, the verses you quote regarding the Melchizedek Priesthood from Hebrews do not follow what you are saying about them. Paul does NOT say that only Jesus qualified to hold the MP nor does it say that it is non-transferable. Do you know why it does not say those things? Because Paul also held the MP. He was ordained by the laying on of hands just as everybody else from the Bible was. If you read Hebrews 7:12, it says that there was a change, meaning a restoration of the MP through Christ.
