  • directors showreel cut ;-)

  • this version doesnt have the last verse

  • Japanese Cavemen in F# minor!!

  • Really great for a 90's video. The nineties seem to be notorious in my opinion for a lot of great music but a lot of bad videos. You, sir, made an exception!

  • this video and this song have been a big impact on my musical path since 1994..

infinite apreciation to all of you made this masterpiece.

I would be so much happy if I can remix it....

    would it be any problem?

  • I think I just found my favorite new song.

  • Love this song, reminds me of dancing at Lee's Palace then going to see Swerve Driver downstairs. Thanks for uploading this.

  • These guys were probably the most talented group in Britain in 1990s and it's such a shame they never made it bigger - if they had maybe they would have been able to keep it going. Still the 2 LPs are simply great and they are forever frozen in time. Nice video by the way. Fits them nicely.

  • @justjasu Spot on bro. They were really good. The way Pete would wind his melodies in unexpected directions was unbelievable. And not only were the 2 Lps great, but they have over an albums worth of B-sides that are fantastic as well! They made quite a bit of music for only being around three years. Although it saddens me to think of all the music they could have made.

  • per favor

  • They could do with some guitar throwing lessons though!!

  • Just one word, Wicked. I echo the other posters sentiment, release this again, pls...

  • Cistine Chapel Ceiling vid is still a fave of mine.. easy to watch, simple and effective.

  • Hey cool job Thom.. well done mate. Good song and vid.

  • This song means so much to me . . . it was my genuine introduction to Britpop of the early 1990s along with old demos by Swervedriver and Blur . . . so much pain in the lyrics, so much beauty in the delivery. Top f***ing notch. Thanks for uploading this! :D

  • Jesus, absolutely brilliant!

  • Beautiful clip ... truly one the prettiest clips ever :-)

  • At the time of 2:17 how did you get that effect?

  • I filmed their reflection on the surface of water (a black swimming pool) with the camera turned upside down so they came out 'the right way up' on film......

  • nice one dude.

  • Hi have just discovered this band and really like them! Good video especially since it was your first!

  • Thank you x

  • Tom, great video! I remember seeing this on MTVs 120 Minutes back in the early 90s. Didn't some of the images from Adorable's "Against Perfection" Cd booklet came from this video? Did you take those photos? Amazing graphic design on that one.

  • Thanks.. yeah they took stills off the vid for the album artwork x

  • Thomas, I was about tocall you a lying git for saying you directed this video but then I guessed you must be 'the' Mr Laurie.

Reminds me a bit of the Curve video 'Horror Head' - y'know what I mean

  • Not sure I understand you! .... but yes. I did direct it.. still carry the scars!x

  • wow, so glad you posted this. awesome job for your first one! if you check out my videos, you'll see my first attempt at a music video (entitled "Boyfriend"). its young kid R&B... would love to direct for music I'm into, like Adorable.... cheers!

  • wave of mutilation.

  • Well thank you very much!

  • Adorable was such an underrated band...especially in the US. The album "Against Perfection," had so much impact on me I had the album cover tattooed on my shoulder.

  • Thank you I have been looking for this video for eons. This song f**king rules and would kill today if released

  • Kevin Gritton (drummer) FTW :D

  • =p for the win, it mean they/it is good basicly.

  • I missed a chance to see them back when they were on thier tour for Against Perfection....SToopid Stoopid Stoopid me!!!!

  • I regret this fucking great band. Saw their first gig in paris. They were excellent. Didn't have the success they deserve. Time has passed but against perfection remains one of my favourite album.
