    And YES... BEST DRUMMER EVER

  • why is there a matchbox 20 link beside this? the world is ending

  • chamberlains the best drummer ever

  • This is gorgeous. Only thing I hate about this is the multi-camera angle switching crap. I just wanna watch Jimmy the whole time! lol

  • This is good... haha super!!!

  • This is so heavy. Gives me crazy goosebumps. That change at 5:30 almost brings tears to my eyes.

  • D'arcy is my Starla.Please take me home..dear.

  • The name of this dvd was apt. It was a rocking gig but one could sense the shift. Maybe Jimmy had left by the time this came out...but I wasn't surprised to hear he'd jumped ship. It almost felt like Billy was at odds with the Pumpkins legacy here. Even in all the extras stuff you could see Jimmy was being marginalised and looking almost bored. Even now with the new stuff the band looks bereft of personality and that's one thing they never lacked- as beautifully twisted as it was at times.

  • ive re-visited some of my old cd`s...... i forgot how good sm were

  • we did get this in Asheville too! so nice!

  • who cares if whataver is underrated???? JUST ENJOY THE SOUND

  • Damn, I'm really looking forward to Siamese Dream and Pisces Iscariot being remastered and released with extra tracks now.

  • masters

  • It is not because i like it, it's because i'm loving it!

  • at 2:00 he is a giant on stage

  • @hatetechstuff He is the tallest front man in band history

  • @pagbabalikngkwago Ric Ocasek from The Cars was tall

  • Here's how I rate Teargarden By Kaleidescope Teargarden By Kaleidescope Volume 1 Songs For A Sailor: Teargarden By Kaleidescope Theme 7 /10. Song For A Son 10 / 10. A Stitch In Time 5 / 10. Astral Planes 3 / 10. Widow Wake My Mind 0 / 10. Teargarden By Kaleidescope Volume 2 The Solstice Bare: Tom Tom 10 / 10. Freak 10 / 10. The Fellowship 10 / 10. Spangled 10 / 10. Cottonwood Symphony 10 / 10. Billy Corgan has redeemed my faith in his ability to write great music.
  • Everyone is so eager to jump on the bandwagon.FUCK YOU.

  • l.o.v.e this <3 :) Thank you :)

  • I think chamberlin is a great drummer too with a very unique style. Sorry for Darcy and James but for my billy and Jimmy are the backbone of the SP

  • @aderossi Darcy can barely fuckin play anyway

  • Excelent version.. !!

  • damn i wish they still wrote stuff like this

  • That was good :) Those who say Pumpkins are not the same without james and darcy are wrong :) They had no big influence on things.. Pumpkins is all Billys work. Old Pumpkins better? Yes! But that is because then Billy wrote good songs :) Today Pumpkins is making Teardrop.. 5 songs are released and most of them are ok.. But ok dont come close to Billys brilliance from the past.. Respect to Billy, but for me he was finished after Adore..

  • @Foozer1 if you look a Dinosaur Jr. and how they kind of started to dwindle after Lou and Murph left, you can apply it to new Pumpkins. Maybe Billy and J write better when they have their old bands back (respectively).

I'm not a fan of Teargarden at all really. Chamberlains absence is sorely noticed to me.

  • @Foozer1 I think chamberlin put a spetial mark on SP music. Remember Adore?

  • @aderossi Definately! But who wrote the songs?

  • Mostly Billy.... lol

  • @Foozer1 Billy wrote just about every single song by himself. He produced most of them as well.

  • I thought Machina was quite a good album. Idk why people always put it down. And Zeitgeist was pretty okay, again not their best by far but not bad. I think too many people have this false expectation that Pumpkins are going to make another Siamese Dream or Mellon Collie, which isn't going to happen. Billy himself has said it won't happen.

As for Teardrop...idk. It sounds more like Zwan than smashing pumpkins. Which isn't bad but ithink it shud be a solo release, not a SP release

  • Happy

  • Certified effing JAM.

  • I would do unspeakable, unforgivable things to the bass player

  • @2blackman1

I laughed so friggin hard at that comment. Can't say I disagree.

  • Starla dear.....road trips to Chicago from Buffalo in the mid-90's wouldn't have been the same without Pisces, Dream, Collie, Gish and Hendrix's Ultimate Collection. Oh this song and Drown- Pumpkins at their finest

  • i want dedicate this song to filam rodriguez.. kisses in the sky......

  • Wow, I can't see how people can be disappointed by this live version? The only other live version that I've heard of this that seems comparable is the 1993 version with the cellist.

His voice on this is just killer! He sounds so good these days!

  • the guitars really sound fucked up compared to the 1992 liver version, the fill-ins sound not as soft as they did when james played them and it seems like the custom built stratocaster isn't really made for starla, the final solo is not nearly as great as the original one was... whatever i don't really like this version of starla but that's only my opinion

  • I thought this version was great, sure it wasn't as great but it was different and fucking amazing and epic. Who doesn't like 7:10 now lol

  • well my personal favorite is from 1994, London Astoria performance. I didn't like the cellist one. Moreover, I think that Starlas from last two shows in 2000 were simply amazing.

  • beyond words starla is a great song

  • ginger reyes is very hot ¡¡¡

  • this is smashing pumkins.....cryable

  • I love live performances

  • Amazing performance, but still feel the 1992 show in Chicago beats it.

  • This is the best Guitar Solo ... by far, the greatest.

  • This is great live, but I wish he used his jazzmaster

  • I named one of my kids after this song....freakin' awesome! Imagine if it actually went the original 11 minutes....

  • This solo makes my brain tingle.Pure euphoria!

  • Brilliant.

  • nah real fans of the 90s music scene knew how amazing of a guitarist corgan was/is

  • corgan terribly underrated as a guitarist

too bad for his big ego

  • Arguably the most underrated guitarist of the 90's

  • agree

  • @Agreenego33 That's what I try to tell everyone!

  • @Agreenego33 That's what I try to tell everyone! Well actually I say most underrated guitarist ever.

  • @Agreenego33 and Jeff Schroeder is the most underrated of the past decade.
