...Coke created another distribution unit for some of their first-run Columbia syndicated series {"THE REAL GHOSTBUSTERS", 'WHAT'S HAPPENING NOW!!", et. al.}. Of course, this disappeared after SONY bought Columbia from them in 1991.
Because The Coca-Cola Company owned Columbia Pictures (film and TV units) in the '80s, they wanted another "distribution arm" in syndication. After creating "Colex" {a partnership between themselves and Lexington Broadcast Services, which repackaged old Screen Gems/Columbia shows for first-run "barter" syndication- in each half-hour, national sponsors bought two minutes of commercial time, while local stations got the other four to sell to their clients...and got the shows for FREE}....
CAN SOMEONE POST THE COCA-COLA TELECOMMUNICATIONS WITH LIGHTHOUSE PRODUCTIONS LOGO FROM PUNKY BREWSTER? THAT IS AN EXTREMELY VERY RARE FIND AND NO ONE HAS EITHER FOUND OR POSTED IT SO FAR...I'M SURE SOMEONE HAS TO HAVE IT OR CAN FIND IT...IF SO THEN THEY WILL BE CROWNED THE ULTIMATE LOGO KING!
Wait. They're going into logos now!? Maybe Pepsi will be the next вид, that's gonna be weird.

Hey, it's all good. Pepsi is 'the right one' but you gotta remember something with Coke:
'Ya can't beat the real thing.' :)

@sabre926 Touche. But I love watching this logo. The late eighties!

If they ever bring this back, the music should be replaced with either a man burping or the sound of soda pouring into a cup and fizzing

Agreed. I think Suzanne Ciani's "Coca-Cola Pop and Pour" sound effect would do nicely.

This would sound better if a saxophone or keyboadd or both be used for Coke Telecommunications aka Coke Telecom.

Hearing that jingle takes me back to a sunny afternoon of watching syndicated cartoons in the '80s.
