  • How to tame your dragon. ^.^

  • guy im getting a bearded dragon and thats the point.... Like the video and like my comment.

  • beardies are great when they are tame, in my opinion one of the sweetest animals there is:)

  • Creepy voice..

  • Aw he's scared of me? What can I do to make him not as scared of me?

  • So, it found the wall interesting...

Flagged for animal abuse, reason: causing dragons to go crazy

  • I know that he dosent wanna bite me but does it mean he dosent wanna get picked up?

  • @mrkennedy007 I think the flattening of the body thing is their way of confusing predators that they think they can't take on. I saw it on a show called "Life" on the Discovery Channel, but the lizard in the show was a Southwestern Horned Lizard or something like that. Maybe your lizard is just scarred of you :/

  • Yeah we know you pick it up every day

  • When I go to pick up my beardie I get scared cause when my hand is at aronnd his stomach he flattens out his back and becomes thinner, what is he trying to do?

  • @mrkennedy007 it dosent mean its gona bite you its just laying down

  • who the fuck uses astroturf for that?

  • i was planing on getting a baby bearded dragon and my parents where afraid of it crawling around the house or run away, but i know i would really want to play with it. do i have to provide an enclosed surrounding when i play with it? will it go nuts and try to escape once i first get my new pet?

  • I really don't think you fully achieved your point in this video. You pretty much repeated one thing multiple times. I hate pointless videos like this...

  • also, at 1:04

is it bad that she shoots her head away from my hand???? please respond

  • question: my beardy runs to the corner, hits her nose in it and runs around and USED to scratch but hasent for a few days, she is also 4 months old, what size should she be by that age????

  • lmao you sure you pick her up everydayy?

  • I have a bearded dragon she loves to climb to my shoulder and she also likes to sit on the top off my head I always pit my hair in a high bun at the top of my head be4 hand

  • 2:40 leg straight on the heating lamp? ouch

  • Comment removed

  • any type of body part??? XD

  • She cute!

  • You can see at 1:42, she also loves the warmth of your arm. My leopard gecko was the same, you can tell when you're handling a lizard if it's relaxed because it'll flatten itself against your skin and take a little time out before exploring

  • hi i am getting a beardie i was thinking if i should get 1 adult male or 2 juvinile's what would you prefer?

  • sooo do you pick it up everyday?!

  • My bearded dragon loves to sit on my sholder every time i hold him!!! He's awesome!!

  • My beardie is tame but runs to the corner when I walk in da room. It's his way of saying mommy take me out and if I don't he gets mad lol do I take him out and then he's happy

  • What's the song at the beginning?

  • @duesrat "Pony" by Ginuwine. I recognised it from GTA IV.

  • I love how she charges at the wall when she jumps down on the cage. She's like "HOLY SH** A WALL!!!!!"

  • Wait...you said whatever body part...and out of curiosity which one do you put in???lol...(that's what she said)

  • Yo 2months 8in beardie it's always run away and I'm gentil n I handle well... I don't no what's wrong

  • @7mercenary well mine is about the same age and nips at me and i handle it every day

  • Damn.. u make me want one now LOL

  • She's cute.

  • So cute when Bearded Dragons stand up against the glass

  • I tame my bearded dragon erryday

  • I loved my beardie. His name was Redgie and was the tamest little beast ever. He knew his name, LOVED meal worms, always enjoyed hanging out near the fireplace during the winter, rode on my shoulder, and would always wave at me. Sadly, my house wasn't properly heated or conditioned and I had a terrible time with the temperature of the cage. So sadly, he passed away 1 year after I got him :(

  • you seem like a good owner rather than most of the other vids all of the owners seem so stupid

  • what size tank should i get for my beardie

  • @TheCobrajet101 At least a 55 gallon for an adult.

  • i have a beardie named lola + my other spike

  • Thumbs up if you name you bearded dragon

    Beardie

  • @JackyBoiTV bear-dies lick stuff because they have an extra sense it is extreme sense of smell and taste mixed hence the hole in their tongue so they smell stuff using their tongue basically

  • lame

  • So do you pick her up every single day?

  • why to tame your dragon..to tame your dragon? i only say because you didnt show how..or say why its good to tame them..you basically said its good to tame them to have them tame, which is obvious.

  • I found an iguana at a river over in salvador. I got close to it and it wacked me by its tail.

  • u sounds like a fucked fag but nice beardie

  • my beardie trys to bite me and acts crazy anyone no why and how i can fix the problem??!?!

  • I bought my beardie at a pet store and yet he acts like he's a wild bearded dragon can you tell me why

  • @imadorkfish45 feed it regularly

  • what a gay blade

  • aaaaaah, I love her. Did you give her a name!?

  • How the hell did I end up here?

  • What color species is yours called? Mine is the exact color, and I'm not sure what crosses she is.

  • i really want one of these but i have a problem with taking insecys in to my apartment, would set protein foods from the petshop work aswell or is this just not my kind of pet.

  • I love how good you are to your pet. I really want to get one myself. Looking forward to watching your vids.

  • mmmm the song in the beginning...lol i made my kids to that song man

  • thats your only friend aint it.

  • @patrick35726 wow, nice comeback, but you sir are the one with NO friends seeing as how u are watching this "only friend" guy tame a dragon.

get a fuckin life asshole cunt

  • she got a thumb up from me, cause she's cool

  • People are saying these are the most docile reptiles. I know beardies very well but ball pythons are much more docile even if you never handle them.

  • whatr kind of bearded dragon is that cause i saw yellow male red female.....

  • 3:06 Your dragon's foot is on fire, sitting on the heat lamp shade, that shit is HOT!!

  • What kind of "body part" other than a hand would we be putting in the tank anyways?

  • @100good2 i pick mine up with my toes...

  • @100good2

You mean you don't prod your animals with your penis?

  • @mlw4428

That's important too. establishes owner dominance

  • @mlw4428 only on sundays

  • @mlw4428 LOL I bet everyone is thinking the same thing.

  • @100good2 LMFAOO

  • mines isnt scared of me if i put my hand in his tank i"ll get snapped at and get fucked up if i make 1 wrong move so i be coo

  • I miss my dragon. He got sick and died last year :(

  • CUTE!!!

  • she is so cute

    she looks like mine!!!!!

  • i don,t get it i get my dragon out everyday and all he dose is just sit there ?;/

  • What do you do if you put your dick in there

  • Bearded dragons are the most docile reptile there is....not that hard to pick up or "tame".

  • My bear die does not run to the wall and scratch anymore :) But I saw Lola lick her rock or branch at 0:24 and my beardie does that all the time. Do you know what that means?

  • lol wtf is the point of this video

  • really with the fat american jokes? pretty sure other countrys have fast food to and obviously you all eat it or theyd be out of buisness

  • @xxRyanxx91 FINALLY a good point is made!

Even the McD's in India are in good business, and they don't even use beef!

  • Hey i have one more question i have gotten a beardie and he is so good its just a baby but isnt afraid of my hand and loves being held and just sitting on my shoulder what lights should i use i just have a 150w basking light which i keep on all day and turn off at night do i need a uvb light or no is just the basking light good enough?

  • @oToxicGamingSlinky if the basking light isnt uvb then YES you do need to get your bearded dragon a uvb lamp & bulb.

  • Beardie looks really good!

  • cute lizard.

  • hahaha i hope not that would suck

  • Whatever body part I put in there? Do you seriously think I'd put my dick in a cage with a lizard and just HOPE it wont bite my junk?

  • i goot 2 dragons today

  • reptilianfriends.blogspot.com/

  • To tame a lizard:

    1)have a wild lizard

2)pick up wild lizard(note: he/she will try to get away)

3)hold lizard tight not to hard but don't let him move at all.

4)when he stops wiggling wait 3 sec~ and open your hands (note: still hold on to a leg)

5)gratz you have a tame lizard.

I have done this with wild lizards that I found, and it works 100% of the time for me.

Just show the lizard that you are not going to hurt them when you have full control. yes, I have two dragons (Lidy and Harvey)

  • took my dragon in the yard for a sun gaze and got spooked by a bird, it took off under my deck, the nights got as cold at 10*C and after 4 days of searching and leaving a heat lamp out with bait his crazy ass showed back up the day I went to take down the heat lamp, part of his tail missing covered in some kind of hair and tons of battle wounds later he champed up back into his cage.....and ive never taken him out since. LOL such a bad ass

  • @TheEmarbe oh yaa and he was well fed on something! lol too funny - and not a clue what he ate tho

  • i was gonna get one... but then i got a girlfriend

  • @aLuCaRDpT what a dumb ass comment.

  • @TheEmarbe you're from canada, i don't take you seriously

  • @aLuCaRDpT fuck off fagit i willbeet yo american ass

  • Comment removed

  • @TheEmarbe still not canadian ;D

  • @aLuCaRDpT oh well then it really doesn't matter in that case, hahaha the only contender was the US wherever it is your from isnt even worth recognizing on any level.

  • @TheEmarbe lololololoolol america can suck my ass and get blown by terrorists, you illuminatis can kiss my ass. i beg it difer, ANYWHERE is better than USA, i'd rather be frozen on the north pole than be one of u, bunch of fast food fat dumb ppl

  • @aLuCaRDpT Lol i live in america and i have had fast food like 2 times

  • @xfireball929x check out my bearded dragon vids

  • thats how mine is he actually runs at the glass making a huge ruckus to get my attention and i hold him bout 3 times a day is this normal btw ur beardie is adorable

  • im gettin a bearded dragon tomorrow :D

  • @Toonut68 Very good pets. You'll be happy. It costs money to start them off, but not expensive to maintain for the rest of their lives. Best wishes

  • Do you think i should get a bearded dragon do they carry salminella or no my mom thinks so are they great pets thanks i really need to know :)

  • @oToxicGamingSlinky Any pet's poop will have bacteria. So, wash your hands after cleaning up their "stuff", dont touch your face or mouth after cleaning up, and be careful with open cuts on your hands. Thats all. If they have poop/crap on their claws and scratch you, its possible that you can get infected. JUST CLEAN UP after them. You;ll be fine

  • 1:13 - 1:31

  • what other body part would you put in there?

  • just be nice to your dragon and it will like you

  • Hey can somebody help me? I've had my bearded dragon for about 2-3 months now and she is still a baby, but I'm very afraid that he won't like me when he's older. When I go to pick him up he immediately runs away. When I do manage to pick him up I hold him over a box (advice I received from someone at the Pet Store) in case he jumps out of my hand, but he does that all the time! He's already threatened to bite me and I don't know what to do!

    Help???

  • @XxToxicWerewolfXx keep grabbing it every day, do it often feed it with your hands tons of time interact as much as you possibly can lol.

  • @XxToxicWerewolfXx this happened to me too. what i did was first i put some of his reptiworms on my hand and put it in front of him. then while hes eating i leave my hand in there for awhile so he gets used to seeing it. after a bit of this try picking him up gently; dont move fast as if youre trying to hunt him and be persistent. even if he doesnt want u to hold him do it so that he knows its ok

  • @XxToxicWerewolfXx Hand feeding is the best. And don't chase it when it just want to get picked up, it causes stress, and your beardie will like you less. Just relax when handling him.

  • hey i just got my bearded dragon today is there any advice you can give me about taming them thanks: )

  • tame huh? its the close interaction and food that make this possible.we feed wild waterdragons by hand at the creek behind our house.they recognise what's a threat and what not.my wife and i feed the dragons most days, but when the neighbours try the dragons run away.we've even given the the damn things names.STUMPY-a med sized female about 15" PRICILLA-a large male withe very bright patches on his flank about 28" and MUNTAS-another large male with huge chunks missing from his tail about24"

  • That must be one of the best looking and cutest bearded dragons that I have seen!

  • @Dee1392 Did it never occur to you that your dragon could fall off your arm or burn itself while it was sitting on those lamps???

Surely this is NOT the way to tame it!

  • Your dragon is cute

  • Would you say it's important to buy a bearded dragon at a young age or would it be okay to buy them as an adult? How does it effect their behavior?

  • @laskolasko buy your bearded dragons at a young age so u can tame them when there young and they will like you more, and u can watch them grow

  • @laskolasko I got three adults. When you're a beginner, I would say adults are the best, they don't get sick and are stronger.

I got my dragons and in less than a day, they were used to me. If they were younger, it would take weeks!

Try to touch them without startling them and give them a shower/bath for like 4 times a week. They love that and will like you even more!

  • whered u get ur substrate

  • he said he picks it up everyday like 3 times in 15 seconds...

  • @GH0STFACEKILLAHHH *Sigh* Who freakin cares?

  • I WANT ONE *_____*

  • ....is it okay if i put my cock in there?

  • you have a cool accent

  • Whats the name from the song in the beginning ? THX ! and it is easy to hold a Bearded Dragon at home for a beginner ? I Like Bearded Dragon so much but i am a beginner!

  • Of course you have to handle them. That's how you bond with any animal. Usually, they will scratch the sides of their enclosures because they feel "trapped".

    Who knows though.

  • I handle my dragon at least twice a day. I would do it more, but my grandma said if I did I might go blind.

  • @endrake2 Wh....whaaaaaaaaat? She's messing with you. It's like saying "You can go deaf if you eat too much salad."

  • Flipping a bearded dragon over on it's back as the other user suggested is a BAD IDEA. Why cause unneeded stress?

Buy them young and hold them regularly. Handle them properly. It's that simple

  • i pick her up every day, i pick her up everyday... i think i should say it one more time, i pick her up every day

  • Being territorial is one thing. That doesn't mean it isn't tame

  • i dont know how old he is

  • i got charlie last year during august and everytime i get charlie out he bites.whenever i put my hand in the cage he backs away from me, he puffs up when i touch him,and opens his mouth alittle. the third night i had him he crawled up my arm but i couldnt get him out because it was getting late.

  • @youkolover69 How old was he when you got him. It's possible he's not use to human interaction. bio.miami.edu/ktosney/file/BDtame1.html

That link really helped me a lot with getting mine comfortable with me. Mine is still pretty young though so not too hard.

  • x3 u pick her up everyday becuz u love her i love my lizard he's adorible i only pick him up and hold him wen i'm wearing pj's

  • my lizards tamed and i haven't even looked up how too XD he's only been angry at me once that was becuz i fell over and dropped him in his cage T.T

  • "-Or whatever body part you put in there."

  • @Kenshiro15K my bearded dragon is afraid of black men for some reason

  • the first day i got mine mine was just like this :]] cause it was there for a while

  • my dad found my bearded dragon in a different county last year during august and he is still mean and bites hard

  • @youkolover69 then you should of tamed him out...

unless it was a wild imported one i cant see any reason why your beardie should be so agressive when did you get him its harder to tame a adult beardie then it is a juvenile thats one reason the first step towards taming is getting them used to your body parts example a hand or arm before you start picking them up. HIgher temperatures in cage can result in a more agressive beardie including insufficent heating too cold..

  • Whats the first song called in the beginning?

  • @Snakeman400 pony by ginuwine

  • do you pick heer up everyday??? lmao

  • I would recommend as a trust exercise with your beardie is hold her on her back in your hand and use the other hand to rub her belly. she will freak out for the first couple of days or weeks that you do it and flip herself over quickly, but eventually she'll learn to love it and you can hold her like a baby.

  • lol my dragon comes towards me but runs away from my mom, she keeps on poking his thighs and doesn't want to get near her lol

  • shes beautiful, man

  • I'm starting to like these animals more than I like many people...

  • i pick her up everyday #1..... i pick her up everyday #2.... i pick her up everyday #3....

  • I like the part where you say you pick her up every day...

  • is it good to have alot of things in the tank when its a baby

  • she likes realitivley all people except jews, okay jews but not gays okay gays

  • haha you dont have to tame beardies theyre tame from when theyre born.... lol

  • Thanks for sharing!

  • what if i put my wenus in there

  • how do you tame them

  • I got one he's cool

  • @reptileboy10 I HAVE ONE AND SHES A GIRL
