@mfirebird3000 Yeah, why wouldn't we? After all, it's just regulations that keep us from doing anything we want, like slaughtering people. Be a gentleman and donate some of your sperm, to let them make your baby and feed it organoarsenic compounds.
Stupid american dumbass. Ever heard of Mengele? I doubt they teach you things that matter there.
Well, the talk of that leading female scientist that this discovery will lead to going to other planets, where we will get phosphorous-free energy etc., while, as the guy at the end points out, there being no current hard evidence for it, makes her statements also a kind of faith, albeit scientific one, in hypothesis. And that blurs a bit the boundaries of science and religion.
Who here was watching that whore talk and thinking...tits or GTFO. Still they would have been highly disappointing but more interesting to point and laugh at.
@hallerd Because if we focus on the element of institutionally believing in some set of axioms, what is the principal difference of religion as institutional belief in some fundamental entity, and science as doing the same in relation to some fundamental laws and axioms in science , especially when claiming that both of these stand for a Real picture of world, while never having a conclusive, anambigous evidence that this is such?
@hallerd If anything this disproves science, whats to say God didnt get bored and just decide to mess with our heads by basing something on poison? Suddenly what science formerly thought was a law of DNA is disproven, like hundreds of other scientific ideas that were "totally true" until proven wrong.
@xXJalacoXx Then he is a deceitful god undeserving of our worship. Also, there is no "law of DNA". The great thing about science is that can be updated and improved upon. Religion never changes unless it is to accommodate the newest scientific findings.
@xXJalacoXx That makes no sense. There is no "law" of dna previously considered, and it has been theorized for a while now life could take take a wide variety of forms which are difficult for us to grasp.
@Nutsonyochin87 If that is true then the chemistry which made your mom sucked my cock last night was totally derived from a new species that was not known to man. A species that is found in the human brain, these new type of bacterial-like have an unknown genetic material make-up. However, it does feel good when your mom got down there...
OK, seems like this turned out to be false.

I have a good idea what we should do.
We should implant the arsenic DNA into a human embryo, replacing the phosphorus atoms.
Then grow the babey like we do with organs on controlled test tube.
Then we will feed it organic arsenic and see if it grows.
I know this sounds gross but i am just curious.. on what the outcomes would be.'
Also this could probably never done because of strick regulations. Japan could do this.
