Where was that road ?? I am eager to start my truck lessons man so that finally l learn what it's like to drive such a truck. I am a fanatic ( totaly obsessed might be more apropriate)of kenworth t800. Altought If i'm to be a truck driver at 36 or 37 years old, I do not know what type of loads or runs might be of interest to me. Certainly logging will not be my calling. I'd rather be doing switchs or iced roads to be of interest.

@brossmart that road was in Alberta. Logging is not a good way to start, Very top heavy and tipsy. Gotta be very gentle on turns and such... Gradual as all hell lol.... First start by getting your license and driving highway for a while... Learn the works and mechanics of a truck. Shifting down 3 gears or 2.5 years is a very common thing to do with such heavy loads.... 70000 Kg's is a LOT OF WEIGHT lol. Not much room for error. here is an idea.

@brossmart If you watch ice road truckers, they try to "hollywood" the show a little for ratings and such... They pull weights around 45000 to 50000 LBS, not KG'S. 1 kg is equal to 2.2 lbs..... SO on the show when they say HEAVY loads, its NOT. They are only pulling a quarter of what them big 'CAT" engines were made to pull. 22000 kg's is nothing for my truck... Would never have to change gears lol... HOpe that helps bud
