They are to Christians and this is a Christian band. long time listener and they have been one of the few bands that have helped me to come back to GOD when I start to fade away. I can tell what he says just fine. If you have to listen so hard and concentrate, don't blame Petra..go have your ears checked at the doctor, maybe you're just hard of hearing.BTW, ok they are famous, but for what? Praising GOD, that's what. If it was not for bands like Petra, no one would hear of GOD worldwide.

Stryper IS a Christian band. The thing is that, unlike Petra, they decided not to be labeled as CHRISTIAN because they had more commercial success. However, they presented the Gospel of Christ to hundreds of thousands of non believers. You can see that in Stryper's lyrics. It is crystal clear that they are Christian.
