You cant get the little fluctuations in his voice, for example he doesnt sing "someone he does not recognise" in the same vocal pattern as he does in the other parts of the verse. You missed it completely a few times

you are absolutely correct. when i cover a song i try not to do it exactly the same, it's pretty significantly different just by the fact that i'm playing it on guitar instead of piano. i feel like hitting the high note only at the end of the song on "from our own" makes it stand out more. anyway, thanks for the comment, and thanks for watching close enough to notice that :) hope you liked it anyway
