  • I've been trying to find this track for a good twenty years :)

  • I never saw on stage somebody with more charism than Ted Milton. And this song (& the film as well) is fucking hypnotic and dropped me out; even more than 60s psychedelism (13th floor elevators, seeds, syd barrett, Skip Spence), minimalism (Reich, Conrad) or jazz (Coltrane, Ayler, Sun Ra). Blurt is not a kind of mixture of them.

    It's beyond.

    It's 'pataphysical

  • & they're really different than James Chance' bands, wich do spasmodic, sharp, contorsioned dances, nervous, near under the skin. Here is a deeper trance, rooted in immemorial rythm.

Lester Bangs wrote bullshits about them at the time...

  • Ted was one of the very best live performer ever. Extremely powerful.

  • brilliant, saw em at the old moonlight club in west hamptead, and at the railway next door

  • blurt barmy army live on. and the great Ted is still out there doing it ROCK ON BLURT

  • art brut. genius.
