What people want to know is sites with decent adverts not adverts that they can definately make money from obviously you can't tell people that but half of what clickbank offers is lengthy advert sites pushing a product that instantly sounds like a scam so people aren't going to want to buy them. not to slight the video but i abhor the idea of taking a hobby presenting it as something of interest and then using that as a launch pad on a website to market things which might not be well recommended. heres the problem with marketing though instead of talking directly about a point to create interest people will talk around the point and use common sense to create interest and to not give away any gems or really useful tips.
I agree some people abuse the method, but there are some very useful affiliate sites out here that actually provide useful information. There are always going to be those who look for the quick buck, but those sites never last.

It's about finding the right mix for your site. Obviously you don't want your site to come across as a shady one that recommends everything. But if you spend time giving people quality content and honest reviews that fit with your site, you won't have to worry about the number. The problem is when people put up too many links and no useful content to go with them. I don't count. I just provide value along with my links.

Thanks Alan. The first thing you need to do even before trying to promote CB products is create a website in a specific niche and learn how to build traffic. Later you find products that are related to your site. Finding products to promote should be the very last thing you do.
to see what clicbank products that has the best selling stats.. log into clickbank account click than marketplace and select the product you wanna sell... and look att the (gravity) on the produc link. Is that high sample 400-800 gravity than take it cause many affiliates makes money on it and it sells..

There are 2 ways that you can earn money as an affiliate using websites.
One way is as you described. Set up a blog and see what people are after, then provide that product.
The other way is to find a good product and set up a blog around that product.
You then need to get traffic to that site, and that is not that hard if you know how to do it.

Great information. But I think most people who listen won't be hearing you because unfortunately people are still looking for "get rich quick schemes". The path or the method is pretty simple & is repeated time & time again from successful people don't follow the money follow what your interest is.

DEAD right! BUT people always start backwards:) NOBODY wants to hear that they need to actually drive traffic (targeted) to their site to make money...they want to hear that there is a magic product that will make ^ figures a year just by joining the affiliate program!:) NICE video, you tha best!

It's more simple that than. Focus on multi-tier affiliate programs that pay you a commission on multiple levels... also focus on service focused products where people use the service as a platform to do something else. That's why companies such as paypal and ebay are so popular. Lastly focus on good looking landing pages that would get decent conversion rates. She is right, the best affiliate programs are related to the niche however she failed to mention anything about multi-tier affiliate programs or focusing on service based products that people depend upon in order to do something. not to slight the video but i abhor the idea of taking a hobby presenting it as something of interest and then using that as a launch pad on a website to market things which might not be well recommended. heres the problem with marketing though instead of talking directly about a point to create interest people will talk around the point and use common sense to create interest and to not give away any gems or really useful tips.

I agree some people abuse the method, but there are some very useful affiliate sites out here that actually provide useful information. There are always going to be those who look for the quick buck, but those sites never last.

I'm desperating trying to register with Clinkbank but I'm having problems. I go to the join up page, enter my details, submit form. Then I get the join up again, so I enter my details, submit & again we keep on going. I have sent an email to Clinkbank about 2 days ago & I'm hoping to get a response back soon. Guess what, I get the Registration Page again. This keeps on happening, over and over again. I've contacted Clinkbank but they have NOT responded back to me. Has this happened to anyone else or am I just the lucky one.

It's about finding the right mix for your site. Obviously you don't want your site to come across as a shady one that recommends everything. But if you spend time giving people quality content and honest reviews that fit with your site, you won't have to worry about the number. The problem is when people put up too many links and no useful content to go with them. I don't count. I just provide value along with my links.

Thanks Alan. The first thing you need to do even before trying to promote CB products is create a website in a specific niche and learn how to build traffic. Later you find products that are related to your site. Finding products to promote should be the very last thing you do.

to see what clicbank products that has the best selling stats.. log into clickbank account click than marketplace and select the product you wanna sell... and look att the (gravity) on the produc link. Is that high sample 400-800 gravity than take it cause many affiliates makes money on it and it sells..

I started 11 years ago. Download my free book ThePerfectSiteGuide(dot)com and I talk a lot about how I started there. I make all my money from affiliate marketing and Google AdSense. No tricks or secrets. Just a lot of writing and hard work. :)
