Maybe you can answer this question for us. Can a spider more into a space that it cant natural slide into in its 3 turns? Since, after all, a spider can climb into tricky spaces.
@Rich711: No, it can’t. No hive piece is allowed to slide into physically ‘impossible’ spaces. Only pieces that can climb or jump are able to get into these spaces, and the spider in Hive can’t climb. It is somewhat analogous to the knight in chess.
Great job! Super clear and very fancy edits. :) Just got this game today and was so impressed by how quick we picked it up and how quick yet interesting a single game was. (we left out the mosquito and ladybug that came with the Carbon edition.) Also so happy with not only how classic the all Black & White pieces are but how compact it is with its carrying case. Me and my gaming pal are all excited to find a game we dont feel like complete nerds playing in public in a coffee shop or bar.
