Biggest Mistake Ever!!!! My Apology to Gingers

Don't stress-a lot of women freak out over hair-it's what we do! Also, nothing wrong with ginger, but when you're shooting for one color and get a different it's disappointing and a hassle. It's the same if you go to your hairdresser and they chop off too much. Short hair is great, but if it wasn't what you were aiming for i's disheartening. You should try to go blonde again some day-you'd look great as a blonde! Bleach and toner used in the right way is the ticket!

Tip for ANYONE dying their hair. Go based upon your natural base. Warm, Cool, or Neutral. There is a higher chance of it not having a problem with the chemicals working in the wrong direction. I've dyed my hair 11 times. =) If you're not sure go for a consultation with a hair stylist to get your base tone. ^_^

@TheOneChrishaunda: Actually, going based on a natural base doesn't always work because some people have the combination base naturally. It's the same aspect of makeup. You're actually supposed to go a shade lighter than your current hair color and then work up. Sometimes you'll even have to have a shade that's lighter, but is combination of lightness. Also because some people have natural highlights, natural basing doesn't work. Just my two cents.

@disillusionedfate That is what going to the base means. You have Warm and Cool. Neutral is for those in bteween. Trust me I am a professional artist of all kinds if you don't know. I'm very good at what I do. Your constructive criticism was unneeded as a Neutral enhances highlights and also colors the hair you want colored. Instance, I have a mixture of warm and cool brown hair. I use Neutral. It brought out my brown, with the few platinum highlights I have along my face. ^-^

@TheOneChrishaunda: Not exactly. Because some people don't match their actual natural base. Also, people have mixed bases. Some people don't need to pay attention to natural bases because they suit everything. So essentially, 8 times out of 10, natural bases don't matter. For example, I know a couple people who are warm or neutral and neither of those colours will suit them. Also natural bases don't matter because of facial structures and framing.
