Everyone knows the part in Stuff is Messed Up where they say " thank God for the media for saving the day putting it all into perspective in a responsible way..." right? Well, for a moment I thought it was sarcastic and that they didn't think that it's O.K to spend more time talking about celebrity's than important things, but I guess I was wrong, because really, are you going to spend more time talking about Charlie Sheen instead of Gaddafi? It's kind of disappointing.

A) They're doing this for fun while the medias job is to inform you on important world issues. Do you honestly expect to get news information from a bands podcast.

@SpeakerPhonesThe7th a) I know it's not their doing this to inform us on world news, that's not what I expect them to do, but really you can't criticize the media when in the end you end up doing what they want you to do: care about unimportant things. And even though it's not their job to inform us about things, if bands follow your reasoning there wouldn't be any bands that talked about politics or society. b) I may be overthinking things, but it beats no thinking at all.

@iivxtii No. I refuse to support your claim. The new album has A LOT of good songs but not a lot of songs that appeal to YOU! I for a fact think that the new album as a whole is even better than most of their other albums. It still can't touch smash or splinter for me though.
