We need some one in office that will help economic and social issues such as unemployment, health care,taxe cuts,more jobs and education. But also keep our constitution as it was written. @dime6664ever It already has been changed, in fact there are 27amendments to it. And even though the basics is the foundation some of it is now out of date, after all it was adopted 1787.
History has clearly shown us that a society that does not change with the times stagnate and dies. By all means keep the good parts of the constitution but you have to be open to the fact that some parts must be amended as time goes by, after all you wouldn't want your country to revert to how it was 1787.

If you want to talk about socialism fine. Socialism is a great idea. Capitalism breeds only pultocracy and oligarchy. Democracy would be a more fitting governmental system for socialism, Totalitarianism would be a better fit with capitalism. It is just that when we are combined with ideas, we fuck them up. And of course the plantation owners were democrats, that was before kennedy. You ever heard of the dixiecrats? And I dont think MLK was affiliated with any political party.

But with regards to Vietnam, JFK definitely made a mistake, but Nixon escalated the war while waging a secret war against Cambodia. This wasnt really a war though, more like a carpet-bomb-the-shit-out-of-a-third-world-country-fest. This gave rise to Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge.
