you bend down too much so thats why you hit the ground, you also have to try to stay more leveled up with your turning, this will give you more power than what you are doing which is slightly move forward.but its okay, im also handicap 18, but in spain it is much harder to reach it.
one thing that will help, look where your feet are aimed, then look at the direction of your divot, its way off line, get your alignment right first, second, the club face at address is way closed but once your alignment is fixed it will be easier to square up the face....go rate my video too..
your setup is wrong you lean to far over the ball which make you move your body out the way when you come throw with the club making a massive arch try bending the knees a bit more and you back more upright
strenghten up your right side its totally collapsing on itself before impact, have the same problem myself by eliminating the dip caused my the weak right knee youl become so much more consistent as regards to ball striking other then that a slight slow down on the tempo wouldnt go astray, but all in all a really solid swing for your handicap.
i can see tht you have a hookers grip. best advice is to change this be4 it gradually gets worse as the longer u leave it, the harder it will be 2 change it in future. its good that your swings short as i see to many young golfers past paralel trying to leather it!!! u have good potential 2 get your handicap lower to around a 8 orr 9 with a few adjustments. if you want some advice, on drills or whatever, drop me a message and i can coach you whilst you send me updated vids on your swing!
You are dipping your body into the ball because you are doing a reverse pivot. Transfer the energy backwards and then forwards like a baseball pitcher would. Don't worry about a little leg sway for now. The number #1 reason is cause they say "keep your eyes on the ball" to maintain balance and positional awareness but unless you have perfect flexiblity its impossible.

your body kinda flowed with the swing and you wanna say straight and not dip
coconut12gigi11 2 months ago
Also think about keeping your left knee as still as possible.

Try and maintain more centered throughout the swing and I think it would help you to slow down your back swing.

its like a stack and tilt movement with you left shoulder over top of your right knee. good contact though

dont squat so much when you take your backswing, that might stop you from leaning forward into your front leg so much

Try to not move ur body sideways so much, ur upper body is just soppose to turn not slide =)

Nice swing. Would you mind if i posted it on my website?
Thanks

try keeping both feet down during impact for a more consistent impact position. lifting your foot means that you are lunging at it
and your dipping in the back swing

Your too rushed during your swing. Try transferring your weight over to your forward foot, so you don't catch your shots fat.

dont lean forward on the backswing, your body falls into a reverse and then you get bad slices or pull hooks and sketchy contact.

Text book reverse pivot. Best idea is to go to your local club and get some lessons from a professional.
RetroJohnny1 5 months ago
slow it all down bro.....and keep that head still.
When your connection is better you can swing more quickly.
All about tempo.....
Biggest piece of advice......ignore the people on here who insult you.
We all start somewhere.

lukinator007 10 months ago
when you take your backswing try not to dip. Come back with an even rotation and a smooth transision to the downswing and then just follow through :)
lukinator007 10 months ago
The club face is shut down throughout the entire swing. It's dodgy film quality, but it looks like you are squeezing the life out of the club.
