  • God bless Martha White for sponsorship of Rhonda Vincent and The Rage. Of course, she is a real class act and such a talant, what a voice.

  • @drmoutebank How right you are. It took Martha White more than 2 years to decide she was to be their next Opry star. They couldn't have made a better choice than Rhonda.

  • Why aren't theme songs today this awesome?

  • Rhonda and her group have such great talent and perform so very well. I'm so glad to have found them.

  • like the dress Rohnda ,the live dvd is brilliant

  • OHHHHH FAKEOUT! lol

  • I always have loved the old songs about Martha White products. We still buy them today and have for all those years. They really got their money's worth in advertising off of the Grand Old Opry. RN

  • Earl scruggs wrote this song.

  • It was beer drinking music in Lenoir, N.C.

  • What do you know about beer drink in Lenoir! :-)

  • Well us old hillbilly boys always drank Blue Ribbon (.25) a can and drank bourbon and sundrop

  • I remember about to crap in my pants when my parents and I were at the Opry and I was terribly disappointed Flatt & Scruggs was not on it that night--at least according to the printed program. But then T Tommy Cutrer said, "And now it's time for Martha White's big Grand Ole Opry," the fiddle started playing, the "big red curtain" opened up and there they were, my heroes, Lester Flatt & Earl Scruggs and all the Foggy Mountain Boys.

Ernest Tubb, my other hero, was on Jefferson Island's portion!

  • Great!

  • Great!

  • Sounds good to hear this old theme song. Haven't heard this since '62.
