I liked the video, but his brochure talked about being "good enough" to go to heaven, the correct answer is none of us are. Through salvation and constant sanctification we are made clean through Jesus Christ who died on the cross for our sins. And the main message of the video is not that this guy saved her life, but the Holy Spirit worked through him to soften her heart.
Agreed, (100% in what you said), but I've seen that track before...and that's the catch, in the brochure/track it says exactly what you said, no one's "good enough" to go to heaven. (My brother picked one up once at church I think, and that's the only way I actually knew, just letting you know) :)

The reason it asks, "Are you good enough to go to heaven?" on the front is to show that you cannot earn salvation by works or by being good enough. I have that brochure and it is very good and it explains salvation very well. So there is no problem with it. Great video and good job!!

Than the person you are debating with will say who created God? This argument just doesn't work. If anything as christians we shouldn't argue period. I live by two rules - Treat others as you'd want to be treated, and help the helpless when needed. @fleadog12 as good as that sounds, that's not how God moves. He doesn't pick and choose which prayers he wants to answer on certain days. Its our faith in him and his love for us by which all things are possible.

You work, you earn, save, invest, practice using common sense and reason in your decision making and God generally blesses and honours that. But there is another dimension here and that is the unmerited favour, power and love of God in Jesus Christ. The faith filled life which belongs to God alone.
@fleadog12. Only through God can we get to heaven! We don't earn and can never deserve any of his majesty. That's why Jesus had to die for our sins. There is nothing on earth we can do, but love and follow God. He wants us to tell him everything, but that doesn't mean he will answer our prayers in the way we expect.

ive been struggling with my faith. ive always been sceptical about god and jesus and everything i mean i have been going to a christian school for the past 8 years and ive learned so much about god and what he says in the bible and i look at what they teach in the bible and what they teach out in churches and other places. ive found major errors in the bible and what ive been told. i go to a christian camp and every year i come out of there feeling like god is everything....and he is. I <3 god.

@fleadog12 I wish life would be easier but is not so you right we have to earn our's milacles but I think that we can pray for anything after all when you need sometihing you know that he's the only one who you can trust and in some ocations he's the only one who can give you an answer...

Psalm 46:1 reminds us that God is "a very present help in trouble" So like Hebrews 5:8 we learn obedience through what he (Christ, and our own) struggled. Also, read James 1:2-4 and Romans 5:3-4

@fleadog12 as good as that sounds, that's not how God moves. He doesn't pick and choose which prayers he wants to answer on certain days. Its our faith in him and his love for us by which all things are possible.

@fleadog12 then why does the bible say pray 1Th 5:17 Pray without ceasing.... but this is why God doesnt not fix everything in James 1 consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

@fleadog12 Hello. Yeah, I think you make a good point. I believe there is a delicate balance between having our lives changed by the grace of God and working through the practical elements of life. You work, you earn, save, invest, practice using common sense and reason in your decision making and God generally blesses and honours that. But there is another dimension here and that is the unmerited favour, power and love of God in Jesus Christ. The faith filled life which belongs to God alone.

@fleadog12. Only through God can we get to heaven! We don't earn and can never deserve any of his majesty. That's why Jesus had to die for our sins. There is nothing on earth we can do, but love and follow God. He wants us to tell him everything, but that doesn't mean he will answer our prayers in the way we expect.

I hate when people say that particular phrase "it'll work out in the end". That doesnt help the hundreds of thousands of starving people, for it work out "in the end". Sometimes immediate action is needed, and if god isnt willing to do this, then sometimes we need to do this for our fellow human, rather than rely on god so much. God is great, but we need to take things into our own hands and fix things ourselves

i dont believe that god does anything for us nor against us. he rather watches us and sees what we do. its up to us what we do as a human race that depends on weather or not what happens to us. for example there are too many people in real trouble where god is doing nothing but watching us do nothing. i think people put to much into god where it should be just coincidence. i prayed and prayed he never helped me in my time of need and i still need help. i am still waiting.

ive been struggling with my faith. ive always been sceptical about god and jesus and everything i mean i have been going to a christian school for the past 8 years and ive learned so much about god and what he says in the bible and i look at what they teach in the bible and what they teach out in churches and other places. ive found major errors in the bible and what ive been told. i go to a christian camp and every year i come out of there feeling like god is everything....and he is. I <3 god.

Made me tear. Good Job. Jesus is the only one that can save us from sin and death so we must follow his way even if is hard, or if everyone laughs at you.
