  • That is amazing! I hope you will market your invention. If you do decide to offer it for sale, please advertise where it could be purchased here. Great job!

  • Impressive piece of engineering.

  • To jest temat który bierze mnie przy kolejnych Orlikach które buduję .

  • Is there an English translation to the forum. I sort of can't read polish :P

  • @pilotboy84: I'm working on it. In few days I will put all the materials on my website rysium.com. For now you can use google translator from Polish to English.

  • I cant find this project on the alexrc site. Can you help me?

  • Youtube does not allow links so i have to describe it: On the forum AlexRc (WIRTUALNY KLUB MODELARZY RC) follow the path: Forum Index -> Rozne -> Projekt smigla o zmiennym skoku - oska z dziura ?

look for threads started by RysiuM.

  • That looks really promissing. Since you have no commercial plans, do you have drawings or detail pictures available?

  • There is a whole thread on Polish forum AlexRc with detail pictures and even simple plans. However they are no for commercial use.

  • awesome stuff!

  • OMG! This is completely awesome!! :) You should market this for sale.

  • I don't mix hobby with business ;-)))

  • Teraz tylko budować ORLIKA lub TUCANO

  • Subscribed. I'm curious to see how it will perform on the airplane in flight. Very cool stuff!

  • Haha I was just being a smart ass. Still, It's really cool how you machined the hub parts and layed up the blades yourself. Can't wait to see this system on the airplane!

  • Technically you are right. But in practice it works 90% like constant speed: Throttle controls the power delivered to the prop, and ch-8 know sets the rpm. The pitch is not adjusting itself when prop is unloading in the air, so this part is a miss - however in the real life it will my be no big difference. Replacing TX mixers with on-board power controller will change this setup to true "constant speed". One day maybe ... :-))

  • Well technically it's not a "constant speed" propeller. A constant speed prop would be able to self adjust the pitch for altitude and flight attitude within a certain range depending on the position of the prop rpm control. This is more of a "variable pitch" or "adjustable pitch" system. Really cool work though! I was just thinking the other day how someone would do this with an electric RC plane. Great job, man.

  • Even the sound is REALLY nice!
