  • Odchádzali len gréci, portugalci a íri, klaus má dobrý plán aj stratégiu, pokradne im perá, aby nemohli podpisovať zmluvy a valy a to té keketiny.

  • The European Parliament members may disagree with him and walk out, but a lot of them left very high quality pens behind.

  • As Czech I am ashamed! General crap instead of cooperation... :(

  • @amigainspired

As Czech I am proud, that we dont have stupid puppet for president.

  • As a German I can tell you I recognize this behavior from our history. As a German I was taught to resist it. This attitude has a name, it's FACISM. We must bring this evil thing down. And soon.

  • @seethenamewouldnotfi You mean EU I suppose.

  • its realy funny, when a president, elected by beguilement and with support of corrupted communists is talking about a defficit of democracy

  • wonderfull man

  • guys, this man knows what he is doing/ talking about.. if you blindly agree & yield you are just sheeps and you deserve to be treated like sheeps..

Czechs are withstanding that pressure (to become part of the herd) very bravely!

    (I am slovak btw..)

  • Klaus hasn't either hasn't heard of the term "political correctness" or he doesn't care.

    Good on him!

  • paranoid man no one wants to listen to him! He bores everyone to tears!

  • @view587 give an argument?

  • @view587 He does not bore everyone... not nearly...

  • All the people should be demanding a referendum.

we should not let the Czechs stand alone against these animals.

  • Venso, please fuk the Lisbon treaty up its ass. This is just Euro bureaucrats fellating themselves at our expense. Go for it! We love u in the UK!

  • Don't let the Lisbon treaty pass. Klaus, please destroy it. Hold on until the British can vote on it.

  • Why should Klaus care about that that those fuckers left?

Fuck their rectum till ejaculate will fly out of their mouth.

  • THAT IS FUCKING DISGUSTING ALL THOSE PEOPLE WHO WALKED OUT SHOULD BE PERSONALY FINED A HUGE AMOUNT FUCKING BUNCH OF TWATS.

they showed nothing but contempt for the Vaclav Klaus when his views were perfectly valid.

democracy my arse fuck those pieces of shit.

  • You are not helping your cause by typing in all caps and spouting obsceneties. Thumbs down.

  • As late as come time, when EU break up, We will remember on this speech!!! Nothing not-endure forever...

  • I am Czech and I have to say : FUCK VACLAV HAVEL, He smashed down the government during its been moderating European Union...WHAT A FAGGOT!

    Now we are ashamed all..

  • vaclav HAVEL?

  • Huh I am sorry, I thought KLAUS of course.

  • If I were a Czech I would be proud of Havel. He is asking important questions about the EU and then these Socialists walk out as they are not used ot being challenged...

  • Havel?

You mean that Havel who said that in his democracy, everyone have right to second chance so he released criminals from prison, which caused death to several innocent people?

That Havel that cancelled our ammunition factorys because "in democratic country, there are no weapons"?!

But of course, when USA been murdering Jugoslavian women and children he called it "humanitarian bombing"

You know what my British pal?

HAVEL CAN GO FUCK HIMSELF!!!! I WISH HIM DEAD!!!!!!!

  • The best way to preserve diversity in Europe is towards free elections! So please go to your poll station and vote in the next European parliament elections! Help us to make Europe a more diversified and democratic continent!

  • We do not need the EU to live in peace. The EU is a dictatorship of the elite. We can have a peaceful and prosperous Europe without it. In the name of multiculturalism, we are being forced into a One World Global dictatorship which will be anything but benign or multicultural. Wake Up People. The EU is your enemy. Don't tell me we now live in a globalized world and therefore need a global solution. We have always lived in a globalized world. Live Free or Die !!

  • icaltrin - No, you don't need the EU for peace, I think the peace in and stability in Europe is guaranteed by NATO and the US. The EU was started to make Europe as a whole an economic counter balance to the US, China and other emerging economic superpowers. Europe would be left behind economically if it didn't have the EU, which is ineffective in my opinion because only a few countries like Germany controls the entire EU system.

  • There was never EU and there was never peace in Europe.

Since there is EU, we haven't seen any conflict but peace and friendship that rest of the world can only dream about.

    You won't break this argument.

  • That is absolutely wrong. Its NATO that has given Europe 60 years of peace. The Constitutional un-democratic so called treaties have only been for a couple of years. You can only say the EU as a Political Union has been peaceful since that. But its about to change.

Your so-called peaceful leaders will make the greatest mistake in history since 1934. They will take the power from the people and make a TOTALITARIAN Union, the EU Union.

I once was Pro-EU, now I'm against EU. Bjarne from Norway

  • The Lisbon Treaty creates a secretive new Standing Committee for Internal Security, known as COSI : new proposals will create an EU ID card register, internet surveillance systems, satellite surveillance, automated exit-entry border systems operated by machines reading biometrics and risk profiling systems.

Source : Open Europe/The Telegraph newspaper.

It's time to for us all to wake up...unless we want a BIG BROTHER EUROPE !

    No to Lisbon/Big Brother!

  • ye i'll break that argument right now for ye its nuclear weapons not coucils commissions or commitees that stopped war in europe both world wars were mainly fought in europe with russia and usa always being dragged in if that happened now europe would be a wasteland there argument broken

  • You are talking out your hole.

  • keep thinking that twat

  • You just keep doing what your told prole.

  • your some kind of rebel then eh? ye didn't think so dickhead

  • I´m trying to make sense of your broken English. What did you actually mean with your last message? I assume that if you can´t actually write then you didn´t in fact read the text of the Lisbon referendum, am I right? Also, why are you so aggressive? People are entitled to have different opinions, right? Is this the Europe you want?MEP´s walking out on elected officials because they disagree with what they`re saying rather than listening to them? What ever happened to democracy?

  • by the way, US is not a guarantee for anything in Europe except good relationship and frienship between our people.

  • woopeea - Europe spends next to nothing on their military and depends on the US for their security. If the US wasn't in Europe to counter balance Russia you would be hiding under your bed.

  • well, if you say over 300 billion a year is next to nothing than ok.

but in fact EU s the 2nd military power in the world, after US. But US spend more beacuse they are on war with everyone. Europe is not so all 300 billion goes where it should go.

Europe and US need each other. There would be no free American if Europe wouldn't exist. US would have no democratic friends, except Australia and few banana republics. They'd have to turn into communism one day. Both needs each other, US and Europe.

  • United States spends 6% of GDP in defense, which means 40% of federal budget each year. European countries spend 1% of GDP. The time when american taxpayers will say "STOP, that's enough!" is coming, as the level of US deficit and debt put the dollar in danger. When that time finally comes, Europe will have to multiply defense spending by 4 or 5, which will put our Welfare in danger as birth rates are low and population is aging.

  • Question for you: Why wasn't the treaty of Lisbon put to plebiscite in your country (wherever you are from)? Democracy is dead in western Europe. The united states would rather deal with Poland and Czech Repub. any day.

With friends like the French, Germans, Spanish and Italians, who needs enemies?

  • Could Vaclav be our saving angel now that we are betrayed by our own leaders?

  • EU is a Soviet Regime or very close to it. Nope they are not so democratic and are not for free of speech.

We should reinforce our USA alliance and relationship. We dont want and dont need a Soviet EU regime like now. Maybe reinforce and build a Mediterranean strongest cooperation.

F.....k EU from Italy with Love... :)

  • not so democratic and so much for free speech and facing facts

  • haha noobs all ragequit!

  • I like that he is out spoken about the Global Warming Scam issue. I hope these EU goons do not try to hurt him.

  • @conciousgood Czech doctors wanted to sign him as "not capable / not intelectually capable" of being the Czech president. But the nation (CZ) shares his opinions (global warming, eu, etc.). They have always proven right.

  • THIS MAN IS AN IDIOT.

  • debil

  • Whatever Vaclav (intelligent person) said and whoever left not to listen to him - all of it is nothing more then a political circus. As soon as some politician feels a comfort of his armchair, people don't matter anymore. Vaclav, EU president, czech parliament, US, Ukraine, Poland, russian parliament with their president, - this is all just a part of the game and those, who search for democracy in this circus are not and never will know, what freedom means.

  • Viva Vaclav Klaus

  • Vaclav! Vaclav! Vaclav!

  • Well, well, the walkers are proving a point!

This whole thing is a DICTATORSHIP!

  • What do you mean? He has the right to express himself while others cannot have the freedom to not want to listen to him?

  • i did listen to him, he is absolutely out of line. just come sometimes to the Czech republic to find out what gets up for... he is a laughing stock. only Russians and those opposed to EU love him

  • Klaus is usually presented as a very good pro-Russian politician here in Russia, he speaks Russian to Putin, oposes the EU, supports the idea of the nation state being at the very center of political discourse, just like the Russians, many here think that the EU is a temporary anomaly and such people as Klaus and different eurosceptic groups just reinforce this image. But Klaus is right in many ways about the EU, it's faaaar from being perfect, but... it's better than nothing

  • yeah, i do believe you. but if you read some of his earlier books (quality aside), you would learn that he had always emphasized for Europe to have a strong and close relationship with USA. Now, he weirdly changed his coat. Fuchizaa (see bellow) is right saying Vaclav Klaus has been none of those freedom fighters during communism (read his biography). How must they feel when they are preached on free trade, market, etc. by someone like him, who actually rode on the totalitarian regime?

  • You have a good point!

No matter how right or wrong he is, this is a place for open discussion.

    Or not?

  • A lot of those who left were active freedom fighters during the time their own countries were oppressed by dictatorial regimes. Imagine what they must have felt when Vaclav, a man who presents himself as a victim of communism but who in fact was well off during those years, thought he could teach them a lesson about democracy while stating that they were anti-democratic agents. If he likes to be heard on democracy why does he turn his back on the czechs who want direct presidential elections?

  • fck the eu vote no to the lisbon treaty

  • That is right, walk out from that destructive SOB!

  • The light of truth burnt so coruscantly, that shady subjects felt urged to leave the lugubrious chamber, which it used to be.

  • whats wrong with the people that are leaving.

don´t they accept other points of view. they should work with arguments instead of ignorance.

  • But his arguments are wrong. Remember. It was him and Slovak nationalist Meciar, who separated our countries from Czechoslovakia. He is working on the same with European Union. Separatist who wants to destroy working EU. He loves US, J.W.Bush, Margaret Thatcher etc. Beware !!!

  • but is the eu working as it should do. the Tribunal constitutional of my country is checks at the moment the legitimacy of the current Treaty of Lisbon . Franz Ludwig Graf Schenk von Stauffenberg (son of a freedomfighter during the third reich) has filed an lawsuit against it. he says that the treaty is to less democratic. too much power for the comission, too less for the parliament. we had a very good law in germany for 60 years wich would be unsubstantial. excuse my bad english

  • Well czech constitutional judges already said treaty is fine. And in fact parliament will gain power, not lose.

  • So do I. He is the first person to hold that office and speak intelligently on the subject since the Common Market.

  • and I agree with the President.
