it's a boat designed by porsche and made by fearless, and a flax six would not work in a power boat cause they don't make the torque needed to move them it takes more effort to move a boat through water then it does a car on land :)

and we have a weiner, couldnt see I was being a smart ass. and the flat 6 wouldnt have any problems making enough torque for a boat, it would more then likely be between a 3L 4cyl and 4.3 V6 in speed though which wouldnt be worth it

well true but a flat 6 wouldn't sound as good at the Merc 502 :D but who knows, flat 6's in porsches are pretty wicked but that 4.3 liter has a fair amount of torque for a V6

apart from the obvious connection between the two they have very little in common as boats. It is not safe to compare them as they are intended for completely different use and owners.

The Porsche boat is an offshore boat and much longer in size. This means that it can be used in open seas. On the other hand the corvette is more intended for calm waters such as lakes rivers or near the coastline in well protected from the weather areas. The corvette is not as seaworthy as the porsche. This doesn't mean it can't provide serious fun times .. I'm also sure that the prices are much different between the two ..

I believe the Corvette boat is a classic 22 by Donzi i believe, which is a very seaworthy boat. Off course, it is not the size of the Porsche, but it is far from not crushing the seas
