Kinda funny how right as Ernie (who drove the 28 that season) said he didn't know how Jarrett (who was in the 28 then) went flying into it, the replay showed the 28 (basically his car) going head-on into the wall
You know, I've thought about that, but I've pretty much withdrawn from posting classic race clips. What I may do, however, is start a separate channel with clearer versions of these clips so they don't interfere with the grids. I just need a bit of time to do all that. :)
During the replays, they didn't even point out how bad the impact was for John Andretti and Dale Jarrett. You can see Andretti go almost head on into the wall, then in the back when the rest of the field checks up, you can see #28 Dale Jarret go head on into Turn 4.
Thanks for sharing these clips, This was the year I became a racing fan, so I love going back seeing the coverage.
the better days of NASCAR...well not to much this moment. But 1995 was one of the last good seasons of real racing. 1996 was the begining of the BS era were now stuck with.
Man Craven did a great job saving that car! Glad to see that John Andretti got out of that car.

Well take your time, I know how bad it is to have people nagging at you yo post stuff lol
rustyshackleford01 3 years ago
That's cool, I appreciate that. Since more people are posting full races, I'm actually hoping someone else will do that for these races.

True, true. For me, though, the turning point was when Alan Kulwicki died and his sponsor went from Hooters to The Family Channel. Ugh.
nadeau1064 4 years ago
We need Hooters as a sponsor. we have everything else and their mother. excecpt SKOAL.
