@lbvedj dumbells mate include alot more outside muscles, triggering more growth, hammer is a real isolated way to train your front delts, mix it up, you will get great results this way, keep your body guessing and youll always get gains, pce

So instead of trying to use free weights in the shoulder press for example, if he were to work until failure, it would be better to let the machine go back to its starting positon, rather than letting it drop down;)

The body responds simply to muscle stimulation from lifts. So you could therefore go build huge shoulders by pressing a log up the air. The reality is, all people's body respond differently. Machines may do it for one guy and do nothing for the next.
