  • what does this song mean?

  • Dagabaadj tore batiya na manu, means something like "you bad boy, i don't agree with you"

  • thx!

  • This song was originally made by nisha Benjamin against the Burnham regime in Guyana and its oppression/ persecution against the east indian population, perhaps that is what she meant by that line?

  • This song comes from an old hindi movie.. The song you're talking about is called "Oh Maninga" which talks about the opression of East Indians within Guyana.. Kacnhan did sing that song as well

  • @spekuless were can i get that nisha b vesrion

  • omg, dis is my favorite song, thank u sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much for posting!!!!!

  • I think it's mine as well. I'm an African American who has Guyanese Indian friends and I love the culture and chutney soca. And when I think of chutney soca this is the sound that I remember at all the weddings and parties. Thank you!

  • Well this is more Chutney not Chutney-Soca. Chutney-Soca is different , that genre is somehwat more new. BUT OVERALL I AGREE WITH YOU, THIS SONG IS GREAT!

  • @ccchris1969 What do you mine Guyanese-Indian There are some Guyanese people who are Black like my myself
