If you want to learn to do the shower just start doing it this really doesn't help. Also he is doing a sync shower because he is throwing both balls at the same time with both hands. You can do a shower a lot faster. He probably learned to do a shower after he learned to do a box because it's very easy to go from box to sync shower then back.

@kakashi76767 To learn the trick better (not saying that i did), to try to find an easier way to learn the shower in the opposite direction. Sometimes these tricks to learn help but not in this case. His shower is almost like a half shower even. Last time i wasn't wasting my time. This time i am though, but hey everyone has some time to waste. His way i don't think will properly teach people the shuffle but i guess i could not say anything and leave a bunch of people crippled as jugglers

@screamorox try practising a 4,4,1 pattern that will help a lot. it's basically throw the first two balls in collumns, one at a time, and then the third ball you pass, and then throw that one. Tthis should help, oh and the box pattern too. it's harder, but worth attempting

Well if you ask most professional jugglers they will say that if you jsut throw them straight up it's not as good cos it limits the tricks you can do. Also when you move to 3 balls in 1 hand then it is a lot harder to do it straight up. Hope this helped I am 13 so I won't know much more lol...

Okay, I'll explain it to you (in simpler English). One hand does all the throwing (no catching) the other hand does all the catching (no throwing). I understand that passing can also mean a throw to another juggler, but what I mean by a pass is literally that! You pass the ball from one hand to the other (no throwing). Since the title suggests "Advance" juggling, Full Shower. I was surprised to see a half shower variation, Not the Full Shower!

It's harder to perform the Full shower as you have less time to throw and catch the balls. In my Opinion, that would have given it "Advance" status. Having a title claiming Advanced juggling, then only delivering mediocrity at a intermediate level, is rather damning! Especially when the "ExperVillage" people already have someone else that does the Full Shower very well, and with control! I find it a little puzzling. Just because you may possess advanced knowledge does not mean you ARE Advanced!

The fact that I have no videos of my own, does not mean I haven't seen this trick performed by other people. It also does not mean that I can't form an opinion from this, or an opinion on whether this guy is performing it correctly. I've already said that I have seen this trick performed correctly and with control, by someone who is much much better than this guy. When was the last time you heard Simon Cowell sing? Yet he tells other people whether or not They can sing, and he gets paid for it!

Think about it, how else can you get one object, from one hand to the other, without throwing it or catching it? Think, how could that happen? If you asked someone to pass you a pen, would they throw it at you? Probably, but what would normally happen? If you had a hot cup of something in one hand, but wanted it in the other, would you throw it? No, you'd pass it from one hand to the other. Ponder over it!

i understand now what you meant by "passing" unfortuantely that doesnt happen while doing the shower. if u pass me a cup of coffee, our hand(fingers) are almost touching and are very close to each other. shower requires to keep some distance between your hands, so the best term describing the actual movement is really "throwing". sorry bro:)

You'll see it eventually, trust me. One day you'll be watching someone perform this well, and you'll see that one hand does all the throwing, while the other only catches and passes. You may have already seen this and not noticed it. You were a bit slow to pick up on what I meant. I couldn't really have made it any plainer. The trick you describe is a half-shower. Read a book. You'll see what I mean, it may even have diagrams making it easier for you to understand.

If you learn site-swap notation, then a 3+ is a "throw", a 2 is a "hold", and a 1 is a "pass". A full shower uses a "pass", but not a half shower.

Basically, assume that you have n balls. If n-1 balls are in the air, and the last ball is thrown and caught again while the other balls stay suspended, then that last ball has been "passed" from one hand to the other. If other stuff happens between the throw and catch, then the ball was thrown.

That is a VERY bad shower!! When you do a full shower the hand throwing the 1 should throw straight or better yet down. Also I notice you can't really keep it up. If anyone wants a good version of this trick look elsewhere.
