this tea is awesome, the "pulling" make a nice soft foam at the top wich makes it nice, it's sweet and milky just heaven in the mouth, in a cold office room, nothing like a nice cup of teh tarik to warm you up

How can you say its thai tea. when teh tarik is the normal tea the whole world drink. Only the preparation makes it different.

And just for your information, Malaysia claims (or at least seems like they do) many of Indonesian arts and traditions as theirs.

@TheQconk I'm not Malaysian, not Singaporean, and not Thai. I'm Burmese and I've tried both Thai Tea and Teh Tarik (the authentic ones) and with my un-biased view, Teh Tarik is different from Thai Tea. Both uses condensed milk, but the tea leafs are different. The Burmese also use condensed milk in their tea. Vietnam too. But they are different. I personally prefer Teh Tarik and Burmese tea over Thai Tea. If they are the same, why do I prefer Teh Tarik?
