According to Pat Benatar, making videos in the 80s was probably one of the most craziest and zaniest things she ever did in her life because they were no rules at all. She even made fun some of them in her DVD commentary, explaining it in little joking tidbits. Pat's a class act all the way. Awesome in person.

well... she's a great singer a beautiful woman but gotta admit she had a lot of bad pieces of crap songs to sing back then.. this sounds way too forced as to have a cool hit but, no hooks, and no melodies really..
well, in actuality, the songs of the 80's hadn't really developed any "hooks"...only a few artists realized that, and they were before their time (re: Madonna..she's about the only one from the 80's still going strong)...The 80's was an experimental stage for electronic and sampling of music, combined with the acoustic qualities of the 70's...But, she WAS one of the products of the 80's, and when the digital age took over, she was forced out. That's ok. I LIKED her and own some of her vinyl.
I saw her & Neil in concert a few weeks ago & she still rocks! The dentist in the video is her drummer. See for yourself as I've seen some of the recent concert footage on youtube.
Wow, haven't seen this video, heard the song or even thought about it in 25 years. Cheeseball, but still great nostalgia. This song sounds like something Garbage would have recorded 15 years later.
think i just found out where my phobeia of dentists came from!!! used to watch this on video when i was a kid. this and shadows of the night ket me goin :D
What I Like About This Tune, Is That It Reminds Me Of "BERLIN"...who by the way, had TERRI NUNN, Another SEXY CHIC! Although Traditional PAT Fans Thought What In The World Was SHE Thinking When It Originally Aired, But, The Woman Could Do NO WRONG in My Eyes, She Was/Is The BOMB!
yeah, this album was a bit of a departure for Pat...I dug it, this is my favorite Benatar track...It was a nice melding of hard rock and the coming 80's sound...
wow...music videos have changed a lot since the 80's!! i cant stop listening to this song...its insanely catchy! i wish people made music like this now.
Kids, I just want to let u know that the denist is not really like that. :)

Is it just me, or does Pat Banatar still look sexy even when she looks crazy in a crappy video?
