I dipped my hair in a bucket of lemon juice once then I lied in the sun for like 5 hours no sun protection. I was to burned to stand up so I just kept lying on the grass for another 2 hours until I had enough courage to stand up and so I showered , conditioned and the next morning my hair was almost white, from brown to white 0__o

@MissLilTayy the less time you spend in the sun, the less dramatic and least damaging it will be for your hair :) I wouldn't do this more than once a week, if that. probably 2 times a month during the summer so on average 4 times during 2 months/during my summer holidays.

@sailorgirl1231 I have natural highlights in my hair/it isn't coloured, my hair usually lightens during the summer when I am in a hot climate and darkens during the winter when at home and when my hair grows out. As your hair grows out and you are not in a hot climate anymore it will begin to fade depending on the environment you are in. If you live in a hotter climate your hair will stay lighter for a longer time.

I wasnt looking for an immediat result so i simply squeezed some lemmon and orange juice into a spray bottle and i mixed it with a little bit of water and hair conditioner. I sprayed it on for a couple of days and my hair started to lighten but it kinda lightened gradualy. after about a week i got the hair color i wanted :)

this works best if u get the 100% real lemon juice in a bottle,mix 1/2 of a cup with 1/2 of a cup of chamomile tea. Pour it into a sprayer bottle ....u can purchase in most garden sections of stores like wal mart for 97 cents. spritz the lemon tea mix all over hair really soaking it good. sit out under the sun for 30 minutes.then wash as u normally would and condition. For even brighter results repeat again in a week.

I wouldn't pour it all over my hair. I'd take a spray bottle and just spray my hair with the lemon juice. And to those who aren't keen enough to do that or think that their hair will be lighter than ever, mix the lemon juice with a tiny bit of water, IN a spray bottle.
