Well, if you want to get technical, the typical "walking blues" line that you hear in a typical rockabilly song is nothing but a major pentatonic. Okay, maybe not exactly, but it's a blues scale alright. Come on man, you should know the roots of Rock-N-Roll are in Blues.

Well, yeah, this isn't even a blues scale, they're just playing straight A minor here... 1 1 1 3 3 3 7 7 7 5 4 3 2 1. That's pretty much the bassline right there. But yeah, I mean, at this point, things are starting to really mix around. Psychobilly is cool because it has elements that change in degree depending on who you're listening to. DaG are way punk. The Reverend, on the other hand, has a lot more of the rockabilly end in his music.
