YES" global warming is here, islands are disappearing, "BUT THEY DO'NT HAVE TO". If people stopped felling "SORRY" and "GOVERNMENTS STOPPED TALKING" and "TAKE ACTION" we have and engineer solution for their plight. It's not rocket science, our company has been in Shore Line Protection for over 30 years and involved in creating man made islands, Dubai a classic example. Believe it or not "THEIR ARE COUNTRIES LOWER THAN SEA LEVEL ALREADY" and they survived. "PUT WORDS INTO ACTION" STOP TALKING.

A few of this islands can be saved. But it will be an expensive operation. The international community must help the island state to preserve a few islands by building strong 15. meter high dikes. The landmass of these islands can be increased by winning land on the lagoon side of the atol. The Dutch solution. And it can be done!
